here's some different math.

in the oilers last 20 games their GAA is 2.15. If you compare that number to the season NHL averages that ties them for 5th. Not bad, in fact quite good.

But they only won 7 games.

I would suggest that it is difficult to improve upon a top 5 defense.

maybe they should score more goals.
