I like that pic "View from row 231" - I can't imagine paying for not being able to see whether someone scored at one end of the rink.

Nichushkin is looking like Rick Nash. I wonder how many teams are going to regret not drafting this kid.

They have good coaches, though.

I know it's not a big deal or anything, just caught my attention on twitter - why does Baicker wear a Devils jersey on her background picture on there? I thought she was covering the Flyers etc. from what I've read here (even the creepy thread)

I think most Flyer fans expect the team to be anywhere from 6-8 in the East. if Mason doesnt work out then that prediction could be correct.
Add into the fact the question marks on the backend. i think the offense will and should come around. I am not so sure about the defense as a group.

We're likely going to have a different one by November.

Right now, I definitely think Isles & BJs finish ahead of the Flyers. The Flyers look a mess.

Geez, reading about Vokoun and it sounds like he'll retire after this blood clot issue.

Sounds like he was really lucky that the doctors caught this clot, as it had almost reached his heart.

*Check out the Pens board for his translated interview*

I suggested this last yr, that didn't get a lot of love around here. I said it before and I'll say it again, if Tocchet was the head coach every player would play a complete 60 minutes or they'd be riding the pine.

i am not sure if he is on there list.
It was guaranteed that "heads will roll" after last season by a unnamed person on here, so who knows that even a slow start would change anything.
By all accounts it sounds like Snider is going to give Lavi and Holmgren quite a bit of leeway.

The interview seems to be a little overreaction according to Walsh, but what I put on the Pens board was as close as possible to direct Vokoun quotes from an interview.

Murray would at least improve the defense and the breakout.

I'm hoping for some miracle up in Detroit that they fire Babcock. He is the one coach I really want in here. Would be entertaining to watch him match lines and run this defense.

From all the reports he was waiting for the Coyotes decision to come down, when they kept the team in Phoenix, that basically guaranteed him staying there.

if Snider didnt clean house after missing the playoffs I really doubt a slow start likely changes anything. Now another missed playoffs? that likely could change his mind.

Homer holds on to coaches way, way too long.

Laviolette got canned after starting out 12-11-2 in his fifth season in Carolina.

This will be his fifth season in Philly, and they play the Devils twice in the first week of November. If he loses both of those games in a similar fashion to all his other losses to NJ and the Flyers are under .500, then I think he'll be fired.

Seems like he wanted to stay in Phoenix. He gave them a ton of leeway considering how perilous and late it was getting there. Actions of a guy who wasn't leaving.

The team Boosh just got fired from is looking for a goalie I suppose..maybe Bryz can best Boosh's putrid performance that got him canned.
