Smith Ties it. Looked like Bourque at first but Game Center changed it.

Anyway the Predators have enough of 1-way FWD's so there isnt any place he could fit into. Unless someone get injured or clearing wavers.

As a SCL Tigers Fan i can only wish the best to him. He's an awesome player with a hard-working ethic. Biggest minus would be his defensive gameplay, but offensively he can be a weapon. I guess thats what the Preds could use. ;-)

If he has to start the season in the AHL he will try his best to improve and will always be ready to step up. Classy guy!

Tavares scores his 2nd goal. 2-1 Islanders now. You can listen on WRHU.

Radio has said that the preds have been giving the puck away with bad passes. Since we can't see it kind of hard to know if the defense has hung him out to dry or it is Rinne.

I don't worry about things I can't actually see. The games start to count next week.

They are -3 now as it is 5-1 islanders. Radio is saying that the preds are leaving Rinne out to dry. One goal was on the PP so all 4 even strength goals were against the Legwand line.

First thing I heard when I turn on the Islanders broadcast is the announcers say "Pierre Marc Bouchard is having his way with Ryan Ellis".......that's not good if he can't even handle a guy like Bouchard.

or maybe we need to realize that this is a young team that is going to have growing pains. squeaking into the playoffs should be our hopes.. expectations should be just to compete

Hate to be negative in the pre-season, but it looks like last year all over again.

My biggest concern is not that we can't score a lot (that's expected), but that we let in too many goals.

we had two solid games before these last two

I agree its a matter of growing pains both for the young and the new... I imagine Trotz's system takes a bit of learning.

An embarassing loss in preseason should sharpen their focus.

I hope the "Housley Magic" starting to kick in soon. From what it looked like in the 2 home games, his input towards fixing the Power Play has not began at all for sure.

Not to make excuses but they did have travel trouble and that can very easily throw a team off but it seems they are making a late push 6-4 so thats is really good to see, and not just laying down and taking a big loss.

That ends the debate: we should sign Moser.

What's the deal with Forsberg? I know it's a minor injury but I didn't know what he'd hurt.

Probably a body injury either upper or lower.

Legwand, Bourque, Smith, Weber, Josi all -2. And that's with Smith scoring 2 goals. The box score did not look good tonight at all.

Moser scored again, don't know if this one was as easy as the one the other night!

I think Beck ends up back in Milwaukee, I just haven't hardly heard his name at all during games (not that I could hear many games).

Next game is for real!

I thought the PP looked good in the Tampa game. It didn't score, but they had the puck most of the time in the TB zone, moved it well, got a few shots and were able to get back and set up again after the puck was cleared.

And I thought Ellis and Klein played great in that TB game as well (just in general, their overall play).

And Hendricks as well, he pestered the hell out of Stamkos. Stamkos obviously doesn't like to be hit because he kept giving slashes and punches to Hendricks after he got hit a few times.
