It's almost confirmed that MDV is leaving, I'm not worried about his replacement because Saputo will spend the money on a top caliber striker, whether it's Klose, Forlan or anyone else, he just needs to make sure the player fits in the team.
I'd like us to go really hard after Pirlo, the negotiations between him and Juve were postponed to February or March, so we can all hope that they don't come to an agreement lol. It's hard for me though, because I'm a Juve fan and I want them to do well, but if they do well it means that Pirlo plays a huge part in it which means that they would want to keep him. But the bad news is that Pirlo already stated that he would prefer to stay at Juve if he's still in the team's near future plans.
I dont think Klose would be a fit here. Klose relies heavily on his teammates, specifically on the wingers. If he's not scoring he's pretty useless. We dont have the best midfield to set him up. Unless things change for next year of course.
Oh no not again a 1-2 year replacement, Please !
Back to Menez post... ‘‘ ... and forget about 34 year old striker who only have 1 more year left in their tank. MDV replacement should be long-term or else this is what we called a vicious circle.’’
I mean is there really not a better option (not that Klose is bad but long-term is better)
I think its a identity finding move.. or call it a get back to roots kinda (whem even the kids were doing fine... didnt last but..)move while transitioning wenger style with an american style in arnaud... di vaio is always able to shoot it in when he has space..
I totally can see a possible confidence and club ravigorized with a win. But also could just flop... lol
