It's almost confirmed that MDV is leaving, I'm not worried about his replacement because Saputo will spend the money on a top caliber striker, whether it's Klose, Forlan or anyone else, he just needs to make sure the player fits in the team.

I'd like us to go really hard after Pirlo, the negotiations between him and Juve were postponed to February or March, so we can all hope that they don't come to an agreement lol. It's hard for me though, because I'm a Juve fan and I want them to do well, but if they do well it means that Pirlo plays a huge part in it which means that they would want to keep him. But the bad news is that Pirlo already stated that he would prefer to stay at Juve if he's still in the team's near future plans.

Nothing! He's a fantastic player and we'll finally have someone who can put a header in.

It's just that I knew that they were looking at a replacement, but I never heard Klose being involved before today. I thought they would go back the Italian route.

Klose would be great. Also remember posting something a few weeks back saying that he received two MLS' offers

No confirmation on Montreal interest in Klose but maybe one of those bids Klose was talking about was from Saputo. #MTL #MLS

I dont think Klose would be a fit here. Klose relies heavily on his teammates, specifically on the wingers. If he's not scoring he's pretty useless. We dont have the best midfield to set him up. Unless things change for next year of course.

I'm confused.
Oh no not again a 1-2 year replacement, Please !
Back to Menez post... ‘‘ ... and forget about 34 year old striker who only have 1 more year left in their tank. MDV replacement should be long-term or else this is what we called a vicious circle.’’
I mean is there really not a better option (not that Klose is bad but long-term is better)

Who will replace Felipe today? Can the Impact get a rare win away from home?

I believe Wenger should.

We have 4 road games to play out of 6. Doesn't look good for us. Hopefully we can get at least a win and draws out of the road games.

4-6 points out of those games should be enough to get us a top 3 spot, assuming we do well at home.

That Toronto game will be vital. Hopefully we have the playoffs clinched, but it could mean anywhere from 1st to 5th depending.

Weird lineup for tonight.

Playing 4-1-4-1 with Wenger as LM. Nesta is also out.

Perkins, Camara, Lefevre, Ferrari, Brovsky, Mapp, Bernier, Arnaud, Wenger, Di Vaio.

I think its a identity finding move.. or call it a get back to roots kinda (whem even the kids were doing fine... didnt last but..)move while transitioning wenger style with an american style in arnaud... di vaio is always able to shoot it in when he has space..

I totally can see a possible confidence and club ravigorized with a win. But also could just flop... lol

He got gutz schalli.

Sometimes he likes to pretend he's a competent MLS player.

IMO since that Honduras or Guatemala game, he really stepped up his game. Almost 300 games in MLS. Now thats rare, usually they get waived and never play again or lower league or overseas.
