I think the hole is too big enough already.

I know that it's the rule but like I posted it wasn't immediate, thus he moved unnaturally. They call that on the offense pretty often.

On another note, good job special teams.

Well, that's the subjective part that the refs have to decide for themselves. I didn't have a problem with the call.

Wow, the defense didn't look like crap on that drive.

They did. Manning just didn't look good.

To be fair, if Manning didn't overthrow Decker by like 2 feet you'd probably have a completely different opinion.

Only because they got lucky Decker couldn't hold onto that ball.

They need to score a TD on this drive.

That's where we disagree, as I think the defender got back well before the Offensive Lineman jumped.

Anyway, the penalty was encroachment on the 2nd defender who jumped AFTER the O-lineman jumped. You could argue that the 2nd defender only jumped as a reaction to the o-lineman jumping, thus making it false start.

But it's a moot point now.

Also, VERY happy about that Kickoff return TD. At least my fantasy team has a shot this week...

Who knows, but the Denver altitude is overrated. Even Aikman said it.

If that's the case, then I might have to change my stance. They called it on Barwin, so I'll have to review it later. So if he made contact after the O-lineman moved, it would then be a false start. I originally saw it as a neutral zone infraction causing the false start that they just mislabeled, which refs can do from time to time.

That's probably correct, as that makes a ton more sense.

Hey refs are human too. One ref in Kansas City today said after an Andy Reid challenge win that "Philadelphia is not charged a timeout"

You kidding me Kelly. Manning will score whether he starts from his own 20 or 40 ? Playing to lose.
