The Defense has to play off the line. It's easier when you face 7-8 rather than 8-9 in the box. Cassel has shown he can throw it deep. Ponder can't throw it 10 yards.

I'm thinking Ponder's rib injury will be a slow healing one.

When did it start being allowed for quarterbacks to throw the ball forward in order to score?

Musgrave and his horrible late game playcalling.

Also defense and such.

Man why'd the game have to end on a fumble by Big Ben.

He just cost my fantasy team two points. The jerk.

Yeah that looks wrong now. Regardless, both teams are not good.

I really think the Jags could go 0-16.

Qb change didn't fix the swiss cheese defense... Luckily Big Ben holds on to the ball too long. What an ugly game that was from both teams.

Michael Cuddyer won the NL batting title. Glad to hear it, I don't think anyone in MN can say a bad word about the guy. Great player.

The fact that so many ex-Twins can be so successful after they leave speaks volumes about our current coaching staff and management.

They already tried... He chose retirement instead. He's not coming back.

Did they because he went to seatle and got cut, but he never filed retirement papers so he still could come back if he wanted to.

Could be wrong tho, haven't heard anything about him rejecting the vikes

He got cut after struggling with a knee injury in preseason. He has filed his retirement papers and announced he was done that same day. The Vikes had contacted his agent when he was cut, they were told he was retiring. He's retired by his own words. He's not Favre. He's not going to backtrack.

My bad, I had heard he retired after he was cut, but from what Pellisario (SP) said it sounded like he was open to coming back to play in NFL with another team.

Shame, he'd be an upgrade too

Winfield has too much pride to sign with the Vikings after the way they treated him. If he does decide to play again, it will most likely be with a playoff-bound team looking for depth in the secondary.
