Oh, I was under the impression that I could complain about whatever I wanted to complain about. The scene just looked silly, and the way it happened visually didn't really look that polished.

Yes, they have a flying cloaked aircraft carrier. Yes they have implausible heroes. And yes Cap's costume looks a little silly. I thought they could have made the flying car effects look a little more interesting. That's all.

I hate how Iron Man's suit is made out of some ultra strong alloy instead of plain old iron like his name promises.

What? His first suit was made out of actual iron?

**** you, I complain about what I want!

Cool post. If you're trying to make a point in criticism of my comment, you're not doing a very good job at it. I'd be happy to help though. It would be more like me complaining about Iron Man if he nimbly darted around in the air without showing his small stabilizing thrusters, etc.

Vintage Joss Whedon. How many characters did he kill? Buffy x2, Angel, Spike...now Coulson. You get the idea lol

Actually that wasn't really a reference to Joss Whedon (though it does apply) but rather Marvel Comics where people "die" constantly, only to return again. Since he's worked at Marvel as well and knows his comics in general, might be he picked it up from there.

Fro some reason, I have this image of Tony Stark, or maybe even his father, driving off on a hovercar, putting sunglasses on and saying: "So I made a flying car. Deal with it!"

TV shows have tighter budget, they don't want to make the same mistake Smallville made frequently. Burn your FX budget 3/4 into the season, have an anticlimactic finale where instead of a big, epic fight, the main villain gets exhausted, trips on a rock and dies. Yes, that is a GTA 5 reference.

Just rewatched the pilot

-Maria Hill mentioned Longshot, who is a Marvel villain.

- Also spotted a yellow bus with a Stark Industries ad.

- and newspaper in Skye's van : " kid saves family " Quicksilver ? no, maybe too young, but interesting still

God, another hot character added on the show. The producers know that they have to rely on beautiful actresses to keep the show alive.

Loved this episode. Although the Commande and crew turning was predictable.

I felt like I've seen this show before. I didn't expect complex dialogue or plots but still...kinda mediocre and it's sad that so many good sitcoms end prematurely just because people want something with a bit of excitement even if it's average.

I could listen to those two Brits talk all day though.

I dont think AOS will be cancelled because :

- Hardcore Marvel/Avenger fans will watch it regardless if it's good or not, and there are millions of them

- also some episodes will be tied to upcoming Marvel movies

Really enjoyed this second episode.
Will definitely keep watching the show, not sure if I would re-watch any of the episodes though.

I am thinking it's picking up though. This episode was a bit more interesting, but I hope the awkward crap ends quickly and we can have more fun with it.

And yeah, the Nick Fury cameo was awesome.

Haven't finished the episode. Saving it for killing time before Ducks-Avs. But man Ep1 and 5 minutes of Ep2...this British chick is attractive but man is she annoying. And hard to believe. Hope she dies.

So this show has very little substance and is riding the fame of the big Marvel movies and their only play is hot babes...yikes.

If this lasts more than a season, I will be surprised.

Attractive women that are annoying or terrible characters make them less and less attractive the more time passes.

Yeah and I hate what they're doing with Maria Hill. She's supposed to be the Anti-Nick Fury.
