Peverley, Daley, and Rome are injured.

Daley might be available opening night, Peverley should be available second/third game, and Rome is out for a while.

Based on practice today

Brad Richards-Derek Stepan-Rick Nash
Benoit Pouilot-Derick Brassard-Mats Zuccarello
Taylor Pyatt-Brian Boyle-Jesper Fast
J.T. Miller-Dominic Moore-Derek Dorsett
Arron Asham

Inj: Callahan, Hagelin

Ryan McDonagh-Dan Girardi
Marc Staal-Michael Del Zotto
John Moore-Anton Stralman
Justin Falk

Lundqvist
Biron

Callahan isn't very far from coming back here. He skated with Richards-Stepan today while Nash rested a bruised foot. I'd be surprised if Cally wasn't available by game 5.

Why are the Oilers setting up Yakupov for failure with two scrubs on his line?

Pelech, Kearns and McCarthy were all sent down today, so this is what SJ is looking like right now.

Tomas Hertl - Joe Thornton - Brent Burns
Patrick Marleau - Logan Couture - Tyler Kennedy
Matt Nieto - Joe Pavelski - Tommy Wingels
James Sheppard - Andrew Desjardins - Freddie Hamilton
Injured: Marty Havlat, Raffi Torres, Adam Burish

Matt Irwin - Dan Boyle
Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Justin Braun
Brad Stuart - Jason Demers
Scott Hannan
Matt Tennyson

Antti Niemi
Alex Stalock / Harri Sateri (battling for backup spot, Stalock is the frontrunner)

For Oilers D, it should be Nick Schultz not Philip Larsen in that spot.

Joensuu has looked very good in camp, I'm sure he'll regress a bit come regular season though. But aside from their pre-season play, their styles do complement him nicely, Yakupov drives the offence, Gordon provides a defensive conscience, and Joensuu creates room. As you can see by the other lines, the new coach likes to spread the offence, prob won't see a line of Hall-RNH-Yaks/Ebs too often.

I think it's not a certainty that Hannan will be the 7th D, though he SHOULD be. It's possible Demers is back in the coaching staff's doghouse.

Also Every article i've read says that Burish will be back from whatever ails him for the start of the season. So unfortunately, our fourth line looks to be Sheppard-Desjardins-Burish, as much as I would prefer the line that you have posted.

Douglas Murray is out 4-6 weeks with an upper-body injury for Montreal.

The defensive pairings will be:
Josh Gorges P.K. Subban
Andrei Markov Raphael Diaz
Jarred Tinordi Francis Bouillon

Final cuts have been made for Buffalo (for now). These were the lines at practice:

Vanek-Hodgson-Stafford
Ott-Ennis-Leino
Girgensons-Grigorenko*-Flynn
Porter-McCormick-Kaleta
Extras: Larsson, Scott
IR: Foligno, Armia

*Have a feeling he's going to lose that spot to Larsson, or at least have to split time there with him.

Ehrhoff-Myers
Tallinder-Pysyk
Weber-Ristolainen
Extra: McBain
IR: Zadorov

Miller
Enroth

Captain to be named before the season opener.

Ben Street made the Flames squad, as did Sean Monahan.

EDIT: Joe Colborne as well.

Carolina will most likely look something like this:

Tlusty Staal Semin*
Gerbe Staal Dwyer
Skinner Lindholm* Dvorak
Bowman Nash Corrente
extras: Sutter Westgarth

Sekera Faulk
Hainsey Murphy
Harrison Komisarek
extras: Bellemore

Ward
Khudobin

Injured: Ruutu, Pikaken, Gleason.

Stared players are questionable with injuries.
Nash/Sutter, Corrente/Westgarth could be swapped.

For the Kings, switch Brown and King:

King-Kopi-Williams
Frattin-Richards-Carter
Brown-Stoll-Lewis

Brown's been out for the better part of camp and will be starting out on the 3rd line.

Sven has been with Backlund most of preseason and TJ has been on the 4th line.

it looks better with Schroeder and Kassian back, and I'm hoping some of the farm kids do well enough to earn a call-up, namely Lain and Jensen.

Sedins-Sedins-Kassian
Higgins-Kesler-Burrows
Booth-Schroeder-Hansen
Richardson-Santorelli-Weise

Is a lot better looking.
