They will "likely" put Pronger on LTIR tonight which could open up a spot for Hall and/or Gill.

Gill's current contract expires tonight.

Why is Hall not back up? I understand Rosehill playing tomorrow because of Orr, but Hall should still be with the team

I find the current cap gymnastics to be deeply confusing.

Hall could be recalled once (if) Pronger is placed on LTIR. Gill's renegotiated contract would go into effect tomorrow if there's an agreement.

Pretty sure this is what's gonna happen. 13 forwards with Hall and 8 d-men with Gill.

It was described as a "bit of a setback" today by one of the writers and about two more weeks is the expectation. (prior to being put on LTIR)

He has to be on it for at least 10 games & 24 days, so for a while.

I would like that better as well but he didn't get many looks at wing in the preseason if any so I imagine at least to start the season he'll be centering the 4th line. Who knows if they end up keeping him for the season as opposed to sending him to the OHL after the first 9 games he may get a look at wing. Lavi always jumbles the lines, in fact I would bet that at one point you'll see Read and Schenn each at center again even with things seemingly set down the middle. That's just what Lavi does.

Laughton amongst the scratches, Hall to center the 4th line.AS expected Rosehill in for toughness.
