Good signing now. Are they going to regret this in 4-5 years is my main question.

You could say that about 99% of the long-term contracts signed.

doubt it as he's a creampuff that doesn't engage physically so his body won't wear down as fast.

Armstrong and Tucker buyouts ($2 million total) as well as the retained salary on Frattin and Scrivens (500k) almost exactly covering Kesselís raise for next season.

Having a 30 year old sniper under contract for another 3-4 years? What is there to regret

I doubt it. It ends almost exactly when you want a high dollar contract to end (ideally it would be ~32-33 years old, but this is still good). I still think we'll see some weird swings in salaries over the next couple of seasons as GMs start reupping all of their star players and squeezing out higher end middle-tier players as a result, but in comparison to other recently signed star contracts (Ducks) this was definitely a good one.

With the cap most likely being higher then, and he only being 30, I highly doubt it.

Nonis only overpaid by 750k to 1M or so, hopefully he learned from this off seasons UFA/RFA blunders.

He's about as consistent year to year as they come. Couldn't be happier for him.

Except that he bloodied a Buffalo player a few days ago in a fight. Cream Puff indeed.

Without circumvention, Sid would be up over 10million so that's a pretty silly statement

Don you think Crosby and Ovechkin's AAV would ahve been worth significantly more then Kessel's if they were limited to 8 years? I do. Im sure most do
