I don't like how he plays. He dangles too much and it usually ends up being a turnover.

So what. Im not comparing Higgins to Samsonov, I know Higgins is better.

And Samsonov havent been not so bad in last playoff, and he got much experience that will be useful. I remember being the best Bruin the two last time we beat em in playoff.

Samsonov has quite a bit working against him. I mean sure, veterans are meant to deal with line changes but this is a new team. He's actually becoming the least of my worries of the team. I loved this guy since the start of this year and I was stoked to see him play. There are times where he's been the only good thing in the loss and there were other times where he helps get the momentum going.

Again I think people are expecting too much of this guy, I don't mean this in a negative way. I love this guy millions but he was never a leader figure or the best ever player. But there are people who come in trying to blast him about something he never was. When someone says they appreciate this guy, it's more of they like this guy because he isn't the crappiest player on the team despite what the haters seem to scoop up. Again, the way we play affects the way the points are distributed. And with what I see of him, he's been hustling hard to do the smart thing.

I'd say the thing I dislike the most about the Samsonov bashing is that if Kostitsyn or any other prospect were playing like that, they'd be praised. Theres really a lot of clouded judgment towards veterans, most fans had there opinions on Samsonov made before even seeing him play. It's too bad really, this guy made a commitement to the team and he's doing what he's always done in his career. Sure, no mind-blowing numbers, but he's steadily accumulated them and he's looked better and better.

100% agree, especially on the part with the rookies.
