Eller is amazing!

Parros needs to play 82 games. He ain't no Laraque.

They put Galchenyuk where exactly? With DD and Briere where Max was?

Gionta isn't bad. He just isn't an offensive forward anymore.

I'd still like him on a more defensively orientated third line.

Puck wasn't even in the corner anymore... I get that the game goes fast for someone like Orr, but it was borderline interference. I see why there was no call but the game doesn't need useless hits like this one made only to injure.

Pretty sure that was the best period Parros has ever played in his life.

During the opening sequence, I texted my friend who was watching it to say that Eller didn't look good in the preseason, and that he should boo Diaz.

I am a fool.

When you have Gally - Eller - Chucky as a 3rd line you probably win the cup in 4 games

Parros has already outdone Laraque.

Hell of a period! I enjoyed it. Wished Emelin played, you know he would have taken part in that intensity.

Hope Pacioretty is ok.

That possession loss by Diaz on the PP was BAD. Props to Bolland on the forecheck but you can't lose the puck behind your net on the clean on the PP like that. That was very bad.

Tons of scoring chances and we've let them walk in alone a few times. 30 shots so far in the first period between both clubs.

It was bigger than it looked, doesn't take a huge hit to injure someone and it tooked Pacs by surprise, he didn't protect himself correctly since the puck wasn't in the corner anymore, he was ready to skate up the ice.

Awards:
Does RDS always look for clips of players scoring against the Habs or goaltenders making saves against the Habs, when talking about contract extensions and such?

Gionta is basically a 3rd liner at this point. A good one actually, he's still likely a net positive possession player and defensively responsible. But his offense is shot.

Good thing we have the offensive weapon that is Parros!

Implying that Pleks and Bourque deserve him on their line.
Implying that we have the players to play a defensive third line.
Implying we're not overloaded with special-needs midgets.

It was a charge by Orr and Mac wasn't ready for the hit. Shouldve been better braced but that's hockey. As I said earlier our 3rd line is much better than theres
