It's the ****ing Michel Bergeron effect. I bet he's still gonna be mad at him tonight.

I miss the days of seeing it all. Not.

I believe you. Upon refreshing the pages, my post back on page 16 is suddenly on page 14. First thing I think is, "Oh God, who did it this time?"

The thing I loved about the Moen fight was the look on his face. He. Was. PISSED.

I don't think I saw that once all last year.

Bournival deserves to play - but won't. The 4th line has been pretty great, same with the 3rd. The first two lines have been medicore to bad, but they wont get benched.

The save against Bolland was the glove one I believe.

I want to see Price succeed and live up to his contract, but at some point, we need to stop excusing his mistakes and glorifying his nice saves. He needs to become consistent.
Dream on - Price is not a stud, he is just a mediocre goalie, no more. He is very fortunate to have made the $ he has. Overplayed IMO.

RDS tends to get undeserved bashing here.
But not in that case.

It's not the letting in of a breakaway goal - everyone knows the odds are stacked against a goalie from the start. It's also how you look doing it, though, and Price was small, low, and backing up way to far on that one. That's just a fact, but says nothing about the other 39.XX minutes of play, when he was pretty solid... aside from the numerous bobbled/mishandled shots, the scrambling, and getting beaten glove side by Phaneuf, of course.

To focus on Price when the the first line has been non existent and Markov gift wrapped the breakaway is beyond belief. Just pure hate....

Having said that, he wasn't weak tonight. He had a very good game so far. But didn't save the day. That breakaway would have been a turnover.

Anyway, 3rd period coming. Nothing is done obviously.
But that is Price: Good BUT doesn't save the day. The questions is whether that's good enough.

tbh Briere is looking alright on the PP. But playing both him and DD on the same PP unit is pretty dumb.

Patches-Briere-Galchenyuk might be an interesting option on the PP

On another note, we can't hope to win while our first 2 lines are doing **** all. Especially since we're facing a hot goalie like Reimer.
You are saying that by overlooking the good saves that Reimer also made...

But all in all... Price is doing good.

Desharnais needs to see some hockey from the press box to actually see how hockey must be played.
