After a promising start last year, I'm seeing more and more of that Therrien style of hockey I didn't miss.
I don't dhave delusions of being some hockey mind, I can barely skate myself, but all last season I was complaining about the D and everyone just pointed at the standings. Then then we got reamed and outplayed in the playoffs, I said the same and people said it was part of the Bergevin's master plan. Then Bergevin signed god damn Briere, despite our team's build, despite the already awful Desharnais extension, and people said give Briere a chance, he's "clutch in the playoffs."
When we settle for mediocrity in our coaching, hiring Michel Therrien of all people, don't act surprised when you see regressive, reactionary coaching. Just like Jacques Martin.
