Revised icetime:

Desharnais: 18:24
Eller: 16:20

I'd pull a Gauthier and fire Therrien DURING his press conference.

Bourque was meh. His ability as a top 6 winger has always been a question to me, and still is.

Somebody worth talking about however is Moen. Looked like a man on a mission.

Disappointed with the reffing this game, but I was happy to see a few players picking up just where they left off last season.

Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher played unreal, Parros had an epic start despite his unfortunate injury, Diaz playing surprisingly well. I hope this was just an off game for a few people (DD, Markov, Gionta, Plekanec)

Gio has to be the worst 'C' in the league.

2 more smurfs we need to be rid of w/ Gio n DD.

Franky gotta go... Please hurry back Emelin!

That's exactly what I was thinking, can't help but laugh at the guys on l'antichambre who said Eller was slower than last year.

This is where I wonder how urgent putting Galchenyuk AND Eller at C is.

Besides, hopefully Parros makes a full recovery. If not, we need another HW to step in. He left in an ambulance, so I don't think he'll come back so soon.

- Gionta can't shoot anymore.
- Diaz started off great, only to revert back to his old sissy self. Some people asked me what I meant when I said he got rid of the puck as soon as he hears footsteps/is about to get pressured? This is a golden example.
- Desharnais doesn't have the body language of a guy who wants to prove something.
- Bourque was the Bourque of 2011-2012.
- Eller was fantastic.
- Tinordi looked intimidated. Needs to be more proactive. Great fight against Ashton though.
- As for Moen, wow is that good to see him look like that! Agressive, great hustling, not giving up on plays, great on the PK... Nothing not to like out there.
- Bouillon has played his worst I've seen him in a while.

Obviously you have no clue what the "C" stands for.

Moen was significantly better than Prust today.

the refs were a problem but a bigger concern should be the play of DD, DB, Bouillon and every other player that missed hitting the net from right in front of the goal.

Demote DD, please. Eller brings way more to the table than Desharnais does and he has since last season.

Just for that Therrien should be fired.
This is why we will never seriously compete - don't have trustworthy brainpower running this team.

We lose 6 or 7 games a year due to ridiculous officiating. I'm trembling over how many it will be this season.

On the positive side, I believe we only had one shorty last year. We have 81 games to beat it.

Dito guy is faster and more responsible defensively than Desharnais.

Sadly I don't see anything changing as long as MT is the coach either.. MB must be second guessing giving DD an extension right now.. If he isn't he should be..

Just want to point out that it was Markov's brain fart that was the turning point of this game....since not a lot of **** seems to be flying his way.

I remember that goon who hit his head on the ice during a fight (he used to play for Hamilton, don't remember the name, big bald guy) and he recovered IIRC. Hope Parros will be the same.
