Time to tank, guise.

I'm kind of disappointed, since Murray is that missing crease-clearing, tough defenseman this team lacks so much (yes, we have Tinordi, but it isn't enough). I hope MT sits Cube and Diaz when Emy and Murray come back.

I'm pretty sure they were going to be there regardless of the injuries to Murray and Drewiske...nothing's changed in that regard.
Oh okay, thanks Hoto. I didn't realize he had suffered a second injury.

In fact, Habs are one of the few teams that could allow Murray to deal with his injuries for a couple of months or more, to when he completely healed, and would then be a MOFO in playoffs...

If I was Bergy I would talk to him and the doctors, and if required just give him the three months...a healthy Murry playing the last 40 games and starting PO could be huge...

So we have two months to see what Tinordi and Diaz are really about.

So with Murray, Drewiske and Emelin out for the next month don't we have to call up somebody?

We only have 6 healthy dman: Gorges, Diaz, Markov, Subban, Tinordi and Bouillon.

Who get the call?

Dietz? Beaulieu? Pateryn?

Why would we have to call someone up?

I mean I know that MT likes to carry a spare with him, but there's a difference between carrying Murray/Drewiske/Bouillon as a spare and carrying one of our young guys as a spare - namely that the first three won't get much worse sitting in the press box, while a guy like Beaulieu will suffer for lack of ice time. Best to leave them in Hamilton and call them up as needed.

I believe he is referring to the idea of one of the six defenseman suffering an injury. In that case, Montreal would only have five defensemen and would need to call someone up.

My best guess would be Pateryn at that point.

If it was only for a few games, okay I could live with us only carrying six dman. But now if Drewiske and Murray are both out for at least one month, what happen if one of our six blueliners get hurt on the road? Do we have time to rush someone from Hamilton to, say, Vancouver or Phoenix?

Just call Pateryn let him play and give a seat to Bouillon in the pressbox.

Markov - Pateryn
Gorges - Diaz
Tinordi-Subban

Depends on who's injured! If its one of our PP guys, they're more likely to call up Nygren or Beaulieu than Pateryn!

I've been hearing rumors that the Habs have been circling Pitt, inquiring about Simon Despres...thought it was just rumor mill, but it may have merit.

Yeahh that would be grrreat! hed be well worth the sacrifice of a good forward prospect. The habs defense would be insane two years from now.

Renaud Lavoie ‏@LavoieRenaud 8m No bone fracture for George Parros. He had a CT Scan and first indications are negatives. So as of right now it's a concussion. #canadiens

Good news. Thank God he had an helmet and landed on his mustache. It could have been worse if he hit the back of his head on the ice.

An opinion about what? There is nothing that can be suspended in that fight.
