No but seriously I don't think the Habs would even make use of another enforcer except maybe against the Maple Goons...and maybe the Buffalo Scottbres.

I think they will be fine until Parros gets back.

Of course they'll be fine. They finished 1st in their division without Parros last season.

The leafs took the game from the habs plain and simple, had nothing to do with the refs and if you actually watched you would have seen that.

You can have Sestito for a new handkerchief for Gillis' face-sweat.

Oh, who am I kidding. As long as you wash it, it can be a used one.

More like Kadri and Gallagher.

One of those 2 can go with Clarkson if we are gonna trade off tougher top 6 forwards.

The Leafs sure weren't able to pull that off as well last night. Tinordi used Ashton's face as target practice. Parros and Orr were even until the accident. Where were the Leafs physically dominating the Habs last night? Toronto won the game because they played a better hockey game, not because they intimidated or beat the Habs into submission by any stretch of the imagination.

am I the only one who is kind of bothered by the premise of this thread? Has Parros even left the hospital yet?

Well he is asking for 6' Subban to take on taking 6'3 Dion, don't see why not Kadri can't fight one of those guys

Seriously

A Gallagher Kadri fight needs to happen, I remember Gallagher ask Kadri to go last year after Kadri hit him, but Kadri didn't seem down for it.

Don't know much about Kadri fighting skills, but Gallagher can throw them for his size.

Yup he left the hospital morning, sent out a tweet late last night. Report so far is that he just had a concussion, no fracture damages.

It's weird saying it, because you never know with concussion, but thankful he is alright after that ugly fall.

Phaneuf is taller but weighs around the same as Subban. Patches has about 30 pounds on Kadri.

And yes Kadri and Gallagher need to happen. Kadri looked ok in his fight against Hedman. He is a scrapy kid who likes to play on the edge but I nobody including Kadri really will ever think of him as a scraper.

The whole idea that most if any tougher player is scared is crap. Most of the time when theses guys wont fight its because its that is what is best for the team. It still wont stop fans from opposing teams from saying they are scared tho, its just more fun for them to believe that.

Prust was trying to draw a penalty. Similar to last year when Phaneuf wouldn't fight Prust. It was during the 3rd period of a tie game getting trown out of the game for 5+ mins with a 4th line wouldn't have been best for the team.

If you don't mind, I'll use it next time Subban declines a fight.

Kadri dropped Tyler Cuma in a fight, when he was on London.

right. Lupul didn't start the diving festivities before the torch was even blown out. that didn't at all lead to a 5 on 3 when a real penalty came about.

high stick on Gallagher? eh, doesn't matter. too many men? don't matter, either.

sorry, but Parros beat Orr. Moen beat Fraser. Tinordi destroyed Ashton.

if you think Parros falling to the ice is losing a fight... explain to me how Orr was already on the ground, then. last time i checked, you don't win a fight by losing your balance.

also, the Prust and Fraser fight wasn't a fight. just dumb refs being dumb.

'nice try, though.' LOL. clueless.

anyway, Habs will be fine without a heavyweight for now.
