Just a thought, wouldn't Bryz have to work in order to stay in the country?

Dang it! I chose him in the 3rd round of my pool, and our pool doesn't count ECHL points!

Maybe that's what he was doing in Home Depot the other day.

Im a flyers fan and jesus christ I feel terrible for this guy. He was thrown under the bus here way more often than not and got chewed alive by the dickheads in our media. He is an NHL player. Guess his off ice stuff really was that bad though. Most of guys on Flyers didnt like him, especially Brayden Schenn

When can he get American citizenship/permanent residence? I would think living in the country for 12 years would give him citizenship/residence or something (it would in Australia at least)

Wouldn't surprise me actually. He would be doing this to keep in game shape while he waits for a team to need a veteran goalie.

Some NHL team will eventually figure out they have no goaltending, and will give him a call. My guess is Edmonton.

Which would be truly ironic given his comments about Edmonton in the past (I think it was Edmonton anyway)

Why? The media is already circling us like vultures, waiting to pick apart Luongo. Signing Bryzgalov is basically Goalie Controversy: The Sequel.

I will outright guarantee Vancouver is not remotely interested.

Before doing that look at your latest bank statement. Think of his latest and the smile that you would have on your face if it was yours.

If this turns out to be true, I can't wait to see how many Bryz in Vegas jokes HF comes up with.

Maybe he just loves Vegas? After all he is loaded and I bet he wouldn't sign there for peanuts anyway

No.
He is a multi millionaire.
He can do what he wants.

Tim Thomas also won a Stanley Cup, Conn Smythe, and 2 Vezinas. Technically, those are Hall of Famer credentials - the length of his carry is what hurts him from actually getting in. If he carries the Panthers in the playoffs, then he's a lock.

I think around $15k. The players get $400 per week, as well as room and board, transportation, and equipment paid for.

To the people asking, why no KHL? Bryzgalovs play in the KHL in the lockout season made his play with Philadelphia look Vezina worthy. He ended up 3rd choice for CSKA which is quite possibly a reason why he hasn't signed in the KHL.
