sorry, but Parros beat Orr. Moen beat Fraser. Tinordi destroyed Ashton.

if you think Parros falling to the ice is losing a fight... explain to me how Orr was already on the ground, then. last time i checked, you don't win a fight by losing your balance.

also, the Prust and Fraser fight wasn't a fight. just dumb refs being dumb.

'nice try, though.' LOL. clueless.

anyway, Habs will be fine without a heavyweight for now.

Prust made the most obvious dive when Phaneuf barely even touched him and he exploded into the boards.

No I'm sorry, Sorry for how bad your eyes must be. Parros did not beat orr at all they both threw some punches and both went down wasn't a clear winner in that fight, It's really sad if you call that a win.

Fraser clearly beat moen everyone knows this, it was clear cut.

Tinordi won his no doubt.

That's complete BS, Fraser and prust was abosuletly a fight, Prust skated up to fraser and punched him in the face with his gloves on, Then when fraser dropped his gloves to fight prust refused and got absolutely demolished and curled up along the boards and waited for the refs to save him. They didn't show prust punching fraser on the live feed but ill leave a youtube video so you can see how big of a coward prust really is.

Phaneuf should know not to hit someone on the numbers, by now. there is no dive needed there. that's simply a goofball move by him.

don't be sorry, you're simply suffering from homerism. it's quite rampant around these parts. take a good look at the GDT thread in the NHL talk section. EVERYONE except Leafs fans said the Habs won those fights.

Prust still had his gloves on. WHY WOULD HE FIGHT. THERE WERE TOO MANY MEN ON THE ICE. again, another dumb call by the refs that favored the Leafs.

you don't understand hockey. i'm done.

Prust dived, Just because someone touches your numbers along the boards doesn't give you the right to dive.

I'm telling how it is, and what actually happened. The worst homers are the ones that don't even realize how full of crap they are which is exactly what your doing right now.

You obviously didn't read the main board GDT thread then because all the non hab fans flat out said the leafs won in the fight department...This doesn't really surprise me either since you couldn't have possibly watched the game and believe any of the lies your making. Are you sure your not just confused and were reading the habs GDT? that's really the only way to explain this.

PRUST PUNCHED FRASER FIRST, what do you mean why would he fight? do you really support this type of cowardly hockey? really?

I understand hockey a lot better then you do, But keep telling yourself what you want to hear...Hey montreal won last night. Feel better?

And the refs handed the Leafs a win too. As usual.

I'm not suggesting he has no "heart" or courage but that he isn't the only light heavyweight that will take on heavyweights.

Phaneuf was dumb to fall into Prust's trap; but I agree, Prust set him up. However, it's not the first neither the last time Phaneuf acts dumb. Moreover, it doesn't mean the refs didn't miss a couple of calls, which favoured the Leafs. In conclusion : no exuses, you can't blame the refs, sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't. Congrats on the win, Leafs fans. I can't wait for the next matchup.

Yah... Parros sure was a winner last night.... The funny thing is some Habs fans think Orr did that on purpose.

We won the game. Our goalie out dueled yours. Carlyle out coached therrian. Our stars out played yours and we ruined your home opener. I'll take all these clear cut wins over debatable fight wins.

Apparently not:

Parros-Orr #1 http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/118244
Moen-Fraser http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/118245
Tinordi-Ashton http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/118249
Parros-Orr #2 http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/118250
Prust-Fraser http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/118251

3 wins, 1 Draw and 1 loss for Montreal in that game. And if you look at the votes outside the draw for the 2nd Orr-Parros fight, Parros greatly beats Orr in votes. AND, the only win Toronto got in the fight department was inconclusive.

So if you don't mind, we'll go with the website specialised in hockey fights instead of your homer's eye.

Ben Eager is on the waivers atm, could be a good parros replacement. Habs could just waive him whenever parros is ready...

We'll give them Stu Bickel as long as they let us score at least one goal in Montreal.

If the guy "stuck to hockey" (he *does* have some hockey skills) he would've never been put on waivers.

You REALLY don't need another enforcer. I mean my team runs 2 on our 4th line and one on our bottom pairing. Unless you are getting a Shawn Thornton type I would not be too worried about Parros being out.
