Higgins injury update

Here's a link to cyberpresse on the injury of Chris Higgins but the article is in french.

Briefly, it states that nonetheless the effort Higgins is putting in rehab and conditionning, he just restarted walking on his foot. It also mentionned that he doesn't heal as fast as Chris expected (he wanted to come back for December 7th, games vs Long Island) but he should be back at mid-december like the doctor's pronostik.

go habs go

I think I'd rather have a healthy Higgins in January than a woobly Higgins in December.

Of course its easy to say that when we're winning ever 2 out of 3 games.

I still think Higgy will surprise us with an early return.

I prefer having a 100% Higgy then loose him 3 games after because he reinjured himself

The Habs are ok in his absence.. They would be better with him in the line up, but if you rush him, he can get hurt again and miss even more time!! Let the man heal!

Just wait till we start losing and you'll hear about this injury here.

EXACTLY. A two game losing streak will have everyone calling for a one leg HIggins. OH and of course trade rumours involving everyone but Koivu.

You forgot to mention that many would be looking for the quickest route to a nerby bridge.

They have a shot at it, but they'll need to win either at Seattle or at Denver, as well as winning the rest of the games (which is doable). It'll be tough, but fun to watch.

Well....here's a quote from the thread's author (fatmax), which is quite recent!!

I hope Higgins takes his time and comes back 100% healed. Around mid-December... I do want him back (of course), but not semi-healthy...and I hope he comes back as strong as before.
Maybe center is a safer position for him?!! .

Higgins shouldn't rush it, let it heal proper and FULLY before he comes back. We want a 100% healthy Higgins.
