The Eskimos started off with a decent offensive series, and then Reed kiboshed it by not being able to count and sending in a guy late which resulted in a penalty, and ultimately kill the drive. Same thing happened later in the quarter.
Then, he dresses a quarterback who admittedly was restricted by a game plan that did not allow him to move the pocket and play his game, due to concerns about his recent concussion. He looked incredibly uncomfortable out there. But they put him in anyhow and got the deserved expected result.
Reed continues to prove he is a Grade A idiot.
As for Gregg Marshall and his vaunted defence. Nice job stopping the big play and shutting down the run. What a joke.
We need about 2 more of these to have any chance of Reed and co. being removed. If Hervey doesn't do it, or brings in someone like Rick Campbell as a replacement, he needs to be gone asap.
Turned the game on right at garbage time. Certainly wasn't sad to miss going to the game. I am mad though that Reilly was in the game in any capacity. I know he's tough but why risk it? Just end the season already please.
We got smacked around good today, but hey, at least the dressing room is tight, everyone loves one another, the hugs abound, they all believe and their coach is their best buddy. Anyone else getting tired of all this B.S. being spewed out week after week?
Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed apologized to Edmonton football fans Saturday, not merely for the 47-24 loss to the Montreal Alouettes, but for a season gone badly wrong.
The sorryest performers for the Eskimos in their latest butt-whipping were the players on defence, who failed to show up, gave up touchdowns on Montreal’s first three posessions, making the rest of the game largely moot.
“It’s extremely disappointing. I apologize to our fans that we didn’t give them the season they deserved,” Reed said.
