I tend to agree with you about Beauchemin but that makes Fowler Lovejoy your top pairing, which is scary. I also think that the Ducks need Fistric's grit against Minnesota. Playing two rookies is probably asking for another loss. You could pull Vatanen and go with Allen Lovejoy and Fistric Lindholm because they actually looked good together in preseason, but Vatanen did nothing to deserve getting yanked off the ice.
I just don't see a good tactical or political way to get Lindholm into the game right now.
Then we should send him down. Winnipeg isn't a pushover of a team
I'm literally going to lose my **** if Selanne sits out at least one game in every back to back... I just bought tickets to see the ducks in Phoenix on November 23rd, and it's doubtful he'll sit out the night before on the 22nd in Anaheim.
I'll drive to anaheim to see Teemu one more time, but come on BB... Play him 75 games.
Better put up some flyers then. Maybe offer a reward for your lost ****.
Selanne is 43, and he was showing it last season. I'd rather Teemu sit some games and play better, than try to play all of them and look awful.

Not to go too far off topic, but I'd like to see Teemu play tonight. He was maybe the best Duck last game, and will be needed to spark the club if they falter again. 2 points now is worth the same as 2 points in spring. The 'show' in Winnipeg would be far less important to me than winning this game from the coaches perspective.
I've been worried about the first 5ish weeks of the season with all its road games almost since the schedule came out. It's a really tough start. If we can hit that 22-in-33 at home stretch at .500 I'll be pretty happy.
