This bad hockey cmon guys. The only good thing is the goaltending so far. It is just comical how bad we are considering our personal especially 5on5. I just don't get it.

True, lol. I would sacrifice scoring if we had a new coach that was in putting in a strict defensive system. Now we still have **** defense, no offense and an awful PP. And he is ****ing with his 2 top offensive players for no apparent reason ?

If we lose, Lavi should go.

Emery looks good.
So does Rinaldo.

surely there is no way we go 10 games into the season like this is there ??

something drastic has to happen...

if we go 0-10, and our rivals all win at least 5-6 of theirs, thats a huge hole we have to climb out of out the gates..

UGH

Lavi really should have got the wake up call at the end of last season...

When he was forced to play a more simplified, standard system, with worse players/AHLers, and the team looked the best it had all year.

Seriously. I wish someone will have the balls to ask in the post-game, assuming this continues:

"Why are you playing our second best scoring talent on the third line with the likes of offensive greats such as Sean Couturier and Max Talbot?"

The Vinny line is far and away the best line so far. Him and Read look great.

G desperately misses Vorecek on his line. He looks frustrated.

If Rinaldo actually had some decent linemates :cough laughton cough:, his physicality would generate a lot more.

I'd like the see the D pairs shaken up a bit too.

5) I'd even try out the likes of Rinaldo, Laughton, or Holmstrom there

The point is that either Voracek (our second best scorer) needs to be moved up or Talbot needs to be moved down. One of the two.
Easy, dude. I just asked who. I think Cousins is not ready but fully agree Talbot needs to be on the 4th line.

We go 2-8 even, we are toast. So many points to be had, gaining ground is close to impossible now, especially when we are a team that doesn't get a tone of loser points

It is absurd... if he plays the whole season there he probably aint cracking 50.

Yeah, that's why I like Rinaldo and actually think he's a much better third line candidate then Talbot. At least Rinaldo is a great, tenacious puck chaser who might as well be a human torpedo. Not like he does stupid **** either. He just goes for big hits and gets reputation calls for the most part. I'm pretty much never disappointed with his energy or effort level.

Simmonds looks pretty bad with the puck on a regular basis. I wonder what's up.

Schenn-Giroux-Voracek
Read-Lecavalier-Cousins
Hartnell-Couturier-Simmonds
Talbot-Hall-Rinaldo

Get Cousins up, we need his puck possessing ability and creativity. I like Simmonds, but see him as more of a 3rd liner who's good on the PP.

I'm just pissed off.

Anyhow, we have several AHL guys who have the offensive talent to possibly and likely contribute more then Talbot in that role then him (Akeson, Cousins, Raffl, and Laughton if they convert him to wing) and even beyond that we have guys like Rinaldo that won't be scorers yet are still better suited for such a role then Talbot at the moment.

Rust? Missed early preseason with flu and lost weight in the process. Think this is only his 4th game counting preseason.
