The EGG line is our #1 line.

Pleks line is our 2nd line. They played much better tonight. Gio had a good night. That leaves DD as our 3rd line.

Seeing Moen get nasty against is so sweet. He gave Schenn some pretty nice shots. He avoided confrontation last year except for those stupid set-up fights off the face-off when we were up 2-0. He's playing a tough game. We need that from him.

Solid game all the way around. Good to see our PP score some goals.

Obviously we could have won 5-0, it was all Price's fault we couldn't do better

Price deserved the SO, too bad..

The kid line was awesome again tonight..

I liked Bourque's game tonight, was pretty inspired..

Both DD and especially Briere sucked hard...

Lol. Awesome. "Will never be better than a 3rd liner. Not a goal scorer at all."

Eller has gotten a point on 5 of the 7 Habs goals this season.

Looks like Therrien listened to our collective rage after last game.

My critics toward Gionta and by extension Plek's night tuesday was that there was no creativity and no chemistry what so ever. But tonight, it was the opposite. Bourque was crashing the net, Gionta patient with the puck (not just shooting into the goalie's chest) and Plekanec his usual self. If they keep playing that way along with their strong defense, we'll at least have two good lines.

And also, the young guys are ****ing awesome.

Loved Eller's and Plekanec's line tonight. Gionta was very good. I thought he had a good first game too. Bournival needs to get more ice time.

Best play of the game for me was Subban's pass on the 5 on 3. It was a very nice play. He has gained a lot of maturity.

Price looked good. His puck handling skills are very important to the team.

He really did. Even had the reflexes dialed in tonight. Still don't know how he got his glove on that one from Timonen (?).

Great game by the team despite a rough opening five minutes. Defense was much more aggressive on the puck carriers and didn't let players walk in to take quality shots, that's the difference between tonight and tuesday. Price was solid. Eller was a beast once again. Bourque was pretty good, Gionta was also good. Galchenyuk was much more involved in the play and ''deserved'' his two assists compared to last game. He also made some smart plays defensively. Markov was the General. Bournival had a decent first game. Can't wait for Bouillon to GTFO. The goal against was his fault IMO. He did a bad job not only clearing the front of the net but also clearing the rebound or at least preventing the forward from getting a solid shot.

Therrien managed his time the white way and we got no DD as our most used forward.

My 3 stars would have been:
1) Lars Eller
2) Alex Galchenyuk
3) Rene Bourque

It's only two games and our best forward has been out for one of them, playing hurt in the other.

But yes, so far, Eller has been the Habs' best player IMO. Great on the PK, great on the PP, great at ES.

Good effort tonight, liked The eggs and Borque and Bournival, he has good patience with the puck and will be a solid contributor.
