Just from those highlights, Laughton's backhand pass was NHL quality, no doubt about it. He also looks like he has a missile from the point on the PP.
Funny thing is, I thought he struggled playing the point on the PP when I saw him in the Caps vs Flyers rookie game and the pre-season games.

If he tears up the OHL and especially the WJC, his trade value will skyrocket. He would definitely be able to get the Flyers a big piece to put them over the top much like the Kings did with B. Schenn.

His stat line so far:

To think, the Flyers passed on this guy to add Rinaldo 2.0

Oliver Bjorkstrand
5GP 8G 6A 14Pts +5 0PIM

oh well...at least our first 2 picks look to be good

I was hoping for Philly to pick him as I figured they saw him lots while watching Leier.

Leier had a goal.

Laughton had two assists.

Stolarz stopped 29 in a 5-4 win.

Morin will start practicing this week.

Johnston Hostetter and Chubak all sent to ECHL. Phantoms are carrying 16 (now 15 with Newbury up) forwards

Hopefully they all continue to play well and one of Raffl, Akeson, McGinn, Cousins etc come up sooner rather then later and replace Talbot in top 9.
