Unless Dreger really is THAT terrible of a reporter.

Seems like with some comments by Dreger maybe we see bigger minutes for Couts, Schenn, L Schenn. Seems like he might not have been too high on the younger players, so hopefully they get some time to shine now. Let's see Couts get back to his old form when he came into the league. We need to see some offensive output from these guys.

Hopefully the team has a bit of hop in their step tomorrow, they better get it together quick and at the very least put in a bit of effort or Berube is going to smack them around a bit.

The interesting thing to watch is how he does with a more defensive system under Berube. Ever since he's been in the league he's had coaches who play the type of hockey he's not suited for.

I feel like we'll score more goals in this game than we have already all year.

Win here boys! I know it's way too early, but I hope I see something good from Berube.

Five goals would double our current goals/g total

It's happening!

Should be interesting to see if there are many changes yet... I would think it takes a while for a coach to instill his new system in the player's heads.

I'm not expecting anything groundshaking yet. I hope to be blown away, though.

Honestly they could lose as long as they play hard. I'd consider that a step I the right direction. Them skating around not caring is not good.

I think Darren Dreger is a great trade breaker, similar to Bob and Pierre, however anything else he says is a load. Luke Schenn in my opinion outside of the up the middle pass the other night has looked better to me than last year.

I don't have a ton of expectations for this game, only because there hasn't been enough time to practice a new system yet. So either the team plays the same way they did before, or they make some adjustments quickly. I'm optimistic for when this team can work on another system, but I don't think there has been a chance yet.

I think the simple fact that Berube is not going to let the forwards fly the d zone right away will have a huge impact. I think these guys can pick up on that pretty easily. Also the d will appreciate that they don't have to make a 60 ft pass through a couple leyers of opposition. It won't be perfect by any means in game 1, but at least when there are turnovers, there will be more than 2 guys back to bail them out.
