I'd go with Galchenyuk.

Well, I think Silfverberg being a good player for us 1-2 years from now is a realistic expectation. If you add Noesen and that 1st rounder, I'm getting more convinced every day that Murray made a good decision.

On the other hand, I know Senators fans who thought Ryan would get 100 points this season for sure. To be honest, I'd be surprised if he breaks 80-point barrier. Anyway, Senators will probably be better off this year with the trade. But hopefully, Silfverberg will become that 60-point two-way forward in a couple of years and if that happens, I'd say the Ducks won that trade regardless of what happens with Ryan.

I'd easily go for Galchenyuk. As much as Ducks fans don't like the HF Top 50 (The Curious Case of Missing Magnus), he is rightfully ranked as #1.

Yeah, I think it's a great trade but just saying 2 games is way too early to determine the winner of the trade.

Galchenyuk over Yak 10/10 times. I love his attitude and drive. Yak will be a great goalscorer, Galchenyuk is going to be a phenomenal player.

I'd go for Galchenyuk, as well, at this point in time. Haven't seen enough of either to really make that kind of call with the confidence it would require to pull the trigger as a GM, but Galchenyuk won't be held back by skill or attitude, and there have been some cases where I found Yak's decision-making to be a bit questionable. Still a terrific young player, but given that choice, I'd take Galchenyuk for my franchise at this point.

Justin Faulk is one hell of a player. He might be the best player in the game that nobody talks about.

And something has got to be up with Claude Giroux. He hasn't looked good at all this season.

Maybe the wrist is still bothering him. It seemed like when he hurt it that it would be a stretch to get him 100% by the season opener.

Really, which ones?

No one has gotten 100 points on the Senators since the Pizza line and that was immediately after the lockout when scoring around the league was elevated.

I'm hoping for 25-30 goals and 60-70 points.

Is tonight the night the Oilers give up fewer than 5? Early returns say no.

Gee, good thing they changed coaches.

They should consider converting him to forward.

Yeah, he's far from good at defense. When someone in that thread suggested getzlaf for Shultz I contemplated asking why the Ducks would be trading away the better defender.

I think it says it all, that you immediately took what I said seriously. For almost anyone else, that would have been a joke.
