I'm pretty sure the King game tonight was offered up as a sacrifice to the sports gods for a Dodger's win.

I'm not just saying this because he hit the game winning hr, but we should re-sign Uribe. He's a popular guy in the club house and a good complimentary player, that plays big in key situations.

Saw on the news that the Cardinals won.

You should all be having Ozzie Smith / Tom Neidenfuer flashbacks right about now.

... and Jack Clark.

Neindenfuer was never the same pitcher after that.

Hopefully having a favorable pitching matchup will help us. The guy i'm most worried about is Ryu - hasn't looked himself. For that matter, neither has Nolasco. I'm not sure how to feel about pitching Capuano. Ryu and Nolasco looked great a month ago.

And now you see why the Dodgers are in on David Price.

Kershaw, Greinke, Price would be the greatest 1-2-3 since Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz and possibly even better.

I think Ryu can still be a difference maker in our favor. That was his first post season game.
