After seeing this and the USA jersey, we should all agree on one thing: Nike should never design hockey jerseys again.

I thought that was a hoodie or knitted sweater at first glance.

Now have you seen the alternate jersey?
It seems it was designed by a second grader as someone on twitter said
Why couldn't we just use the old jerseys they were fine

What the heck? Have you even seen Couture play? he is not a perimeter player. The guy is gritty as hell and will be the future captain for the Sharks.

totally agree, Couture is a great player. maybe hes confusing him with pavelski, while even that isnt true Pavelski is closer to that description.

Looks like a long sleeved soccer jersey to me.

And to make matters worse, the socks...

Why the black trim? It doesn't match the ****ing jersey?!

Not even sure because Pavelski is a gritty player as well. Only "softy" on that team is big Joe...and he's not even soft...just less engaging. I'm thinking he's never seen them play. But calling Couture soft is like saying Hall is slow. Does not compute.

The problem when Nike designs these is that it looks good on their renders because it's more of a tight fit (like a soccer player would wear it). When a hockey player wears it in game it tends to be baggier and as a result it looks horrendous. The tight fit versions don't look nearly as bad.

I hate the single-arm bands they have.

Seriously, the white one with the red arm band looks like something the men's hockey team from Nazi Germany would wear.

I thought "Hey, maybe the whole uniform won't look that bad."

God damn, the jersey might not even be the worst part. A total mess.

The Jersey somehow looks worse in full uniform, as if it wasn't bad enough already.

It honestly makes me feel sick. Maybe it's cause I already have a cold. I was hoping I'd warm up to these somehow, or that the leak was fake, or that someone would force changes before official release, or that the full uniform would somehow make it look better...

It is so bad, I'd be embarrassed to wear it. How did we let this happen?
