This feels like the team we expected to see to start the year. Oh, man, this is a blast to watch.

Goal for Nystrom on the penalty shot. Of the free agent guys Nystrom has been the most impressive. He is a lot better then a lot of people here gave him credit for.

Good showing from Rinne so far. Not allowing rebounds so far.

Smith is good for a slip and fall ass busting at least once a game.

For those who say Pekka is overrated. Direct them to that save.

Also stick tap for FF, who I think was the one who went crease clearing just then.

It's also good to see Forsberg with some energy and clearing the crease when he has to.

Poor shot by Parise, but a great save nonetheless. Rinne's lateral movement looking better each game.

We don't seem capable of retaining possession. Our passes are off the mark and if we aren't careful, we'll find ourselves giving up more goals.

I was just thinking this. I've seen a few horrible no-look passes, at least one in the neutral zone, since I tuned in just a little while ago.

That said, Wilson's pass from behind the net to create a good chance was excellent.

Best period we've played all year. It's good to be home.

I have to change computers in a minute when I go into work, though. I may try to find something better, or might even bite the bullet and sign up for GCL

I may be alone on this here, but this Nystrom signing looks pretty good in my mind. Adding Hendricks too is a little redundant, but Nystrom has brought a bit of everything so far and has easily been one of our hardest working players.

I'm not sure if it was our best play, but certainly the best results from our play. We need to establish our forecheck and get a cycle going, and our defense, especially Weber/Jones, need to clean up their breakout passes.
