Glad he's working out for you guys.

He was the same way in Minnesota when he played here. Super hard working, always willing to do whatever, and was overall a fun player to watch. Sadly, he didn't really put up any points and was let go.

One of my favorite memories of the Wild in person is seeing someone for Calgary flying up the ice on a breakaway right next to the boards. He had no idea that Nystrom was in the box and the penalty expired just as he was passing. Nystrom came out and just stood there and completely leveled the guy.

Hopefully he does well down there. The guy deserves it.

Just please no more against the Wild

Little late...watched the 1st without my computer. I'll be honest, I think it'll be harder to score on Harding than Backstrom, will be surprised if we get more than 1 on him...we shall see

Doing a pretty good job of disrupting them across the neutral zone and at the blue line, but just not much possession.

Yeah, the cap hit isn't too good but I guess what I'm trying to say is Nystrom has played pretty well so far and seems like a good fit. Hendricks was still overkill and Gaustad I don't even want to talk about.

Pretty weak call, but whatever. Kill it and it won't matter.

When a player is checking another in such a way that there is only stick-to-stick contact, such action is not to be penalized as hooking.

I'd need to see the replay again, but I thought that's exactly what Forsberg was doing.

It has to be in a manner that restrains the opponent. It was borderline IMO. Just being a homer and calling it weak because I can

Good block. We were kind of skating around without much of a plan there. I'm glad the puck bounced on whoever's stick that was before it went to the point.

The video quality of this feed sucks a bit.

Agreed. Protecting your goalie now = roughing.

So frustrating to be on the wrong end of that call when it never seems to be called the other way.

We are still looking defensive. I'm constantly trying to count our guys and make sure we didn't get a penalty while I was blinking. I don't see us being able to hold on much longer if this keeps up.

We need more crisp passes if we are to see this one out.
