Baby step...at least we can't say the goalie didn't give us a chance to win. That's what you need when struggling. Still anti climactic and a stinker for the most part. They have a lot of work to do...and the roster still has some issues.
If you're going to change things up with coaching, lines, and possibly style of play it's best if you can get lucky and win while you're doing it and everything gets to close to how Berube wants it. Beats an L, but luck was big tonight. About as big as Mason.
What this win will do is give the lads a little breather and help them relax a bit and stop gripping so damn much........You could'nt drive a greased needle up their a$$es with a sledge hammer they are so damn tight and unconfident !Winning can cure a lot of things, even an ugly win like this one .
Bad: Everything was 100% absolute dick. The PP, the PK, the passing, zone entry, coverage, etc. Our 2 goals had nothing to do with skill, they were both dumb luck combined with Tim Thomas being a moron. We got incredibly lucky.
Ugly: Simmonds and Rosehill make me want to buy Sixers season tickets
The Ugly: Deserved to lose this game, but Mason had different plans...at least we know one player likes winning. Mez needs a lot fewer minutes, he's really sloppy.
I really have no idea why Mez is on the pp. It's even more confusing when they use him on the left side. His shot is his only asset right now, and they eliminate the one-time opportunity by throwing him on the left side.
