Mason through 10 games with the Flyers:

.942SV%

1.94GAA

1 assist

5wins, 4 losses

The SV% and GAA are the best of any Goalie with 10 or more games in Flyers history.

ALL HAIL KING MASON.

His numbers will ofc come down, but he has shown he has all the tools to be the goalie he was in his 1st year.

I hope Mason puts up around 10 more of those games so I can make a main board thread saying "Mason > Bobrovsky"

After all, Bob is this supposed top 5 goalie after 20 starts.

Rosehill took an extra 2 min. Berube acknowl. it was unacceptable.

Calm down. He acknowledged it, let's see what happens Friday night before we rip the new coach after his first win. Yeesh.

Florida fans calling that a dive by Hartnell are seriously the worst. I hope their team moves to Quebec

Playing off the company slogan...

"He has the Captain in him." Especially since the "in" from "captain" shows in your avatar.

I'm not decided on Berube in any way at all. He did make some bad lineup/ice-time decisions tonight though and with that one quote he was acting like there wasn't an option to send Rosehill down or bench him.

Apparently the reporter who asked him that was Mike Sielski, the same one who enraged Snider about the hire and ''culture''. I have a feeling that's not going to be the last time Berube embarrasses him

How he said it matters and the full context of the quote is not available. I wouldn't be shocked if he addresses the matter internally.

Things are about to get kinky.

Was I seeing things or at one point in the first or the second did a Panther, possibly Kopecky, knock down Timonen and keep pushing his head down? Then one of the Schenn's, I think Luke, knocked off the guys helmet.

I have two possible options for the next GDT song:

"Bad Boys Get Spanked" by the Pretenders or "Spanked" by Van Halen.

Yeh, pretty much what I saw, Luke grabbed him and looked for a second like he was going to punch him in the side of the head... but then thought better of it an kind of half ripped/pulled his helmet off while moving him off the top of Kimmo.

Mez lead defenders in icetime.....

He should kiss Mason's feet after his terrible performance. Seriously...Mez continuously gets beat to the outside.

Dont know whats more frustrating....watching Mez try to play defense or Talbot trying to play offense (for Talbot offense on the pk doesnt count )

It would be funny if Steve Mason of all people solved the Flyers goaltending woes.

Makes sense. That was my basis for the post earlier (#116). The quote can't always be judged by the words.

I always used to get him in NHL because his potential would skyrocket his ratings after a few years.

I was actually a fan of his prior to coming here. That's why I really didn't mind the move when we first acquired him last year. I really hope for his sake & our sake he can salvage his career here & become our starter for years to come.

I was the first to laugh out loud when I saw we traded Mase to you guys. I figured there was no way that head case would sort himself out in Philly... but good on you Mase. Can't wait for the first Bob/Mase showdown.
