Oh yeah, he sure showed them. They'll never do it again--oh, wait...yes they will do it again, because now they know if they mess with a Flyer they can goad Rosehill into doing something idiotic that makes it harder for his own team to win.

Rinaldo is another guy I thought played well tonight for his role. He might be the hardest hitter in the league, good thing he's only 5'11" & 180 lbs. because he would literally kill someone if he was any bigger.

Wait, did Berube do a Tortorella style presser?

Give the man a raise.

This could be the Twitter quote of the night, by John Boruk:

Quote:
When asked if he'll punish Rosehill, Berube says "What do you want me to do spank him?" and then told reporter to "get lost!" Love it!

Yup, pound for pound he's probably the most vicious hitter in the league.

Ah, okay. I just was wondering because I searched this forum and another to see if anyone mentioned it by searching for Timonen (I should've also searched for Kimmo) and Kopecky and I didn't see anything though I may have missed it.

If we're playing Mez to showcase him, we're going to end up having to pay someone to take him off our hands

Didn't see the whole game but from what I did see
Good: Mason
Bad: I thought Simmonds sucked again, so many turnovers
Ugly: PP

Good to get a W though.

....not just vicious, but clean. Love his game. He might only get 8 to 10 minutes a game, but he can really throw the opposition off their game if he's on the ice. He doesn't even need to hit now to be effective. That's a great sign.

Yeah Florida and other teams we've played won't even attempt to break out on the side Rinaldo is on. His presence alone out there is throwing the other team off their game.

The guy who berube told to get lost was mike sielski. He's the idiot reporter that asked the stupid question in the press conference, questioned the hire and wrote the article today for Philly.com that made absolute no sense at all

Yup and at 23(turned in June) he's still got plenty of time to work on his pk. He's done plenty of it in the AHL and he was getting some time in preseason for two yrs now.

That would make him a great 4th liner IMO.

I enjoy when you can see him have somebody lined up before the hit happens.

He destroyed Shore tonight.

As for official three stars of the game (chosen by the Phila. Daily News):
  1. Mason
  2. Markstrom
  3. Talbot

When Rinaldo is on the ice and in the area you won't have a lot of time with the puck before you're under attack. He can be quite disruptive.

Doesn't it? I made sure I put out a tweet to him mentioning the quote and included his name so he gets it. I'm tired of the philly media, especially how after today they whined like little girls because of how the flyers announced Mason as the starter and the Dave Isaac and company were quoted as to how they weren't going to cover the flyers wives carnival. Classless fools

And his dumb penalties get less and less every year. Even in his first prospect camp we all noticed he could hit like a freight train but we all feared he would never grow up. He has matured to a very effective guy who draws more penalties then he takes now.

I believe he started taking anger management classes once he established himself as a roster player here in Philly.
