Columbus Blue Jackets
Ohio State Buckeyes

I also sometimes sort of half-follow the Cleveland and Pittsburgh pro teams when I'm bored, and I follow the Vols and Aggies 'cause of family members that are fans.

My fiancee's grandparents live in Columbus and thus are all big Buckeye fans.

I personally can't stand them.

I don't do baseball or NBA. My NFL team is a trainwreck (working on our 14th straight season missing the playoffs) and Vandy plays in the toughest conference in college football. As such, I depend on the Preds to maintain my sports sanity; last year was salvaged by Vandy football killing it.

Los Angeles Clippers

I also root for the Florida Panthers a little bit because I got to intern with them during the 09-10 season.

None of my teams in any sport have ever won a title in their history, and in fact are quite awful.

Kings (was my ONLY hockey team for about 20 years)
Ducks
Roll Tide! (Graduate Student)
Grizzlies
Titans
Chicago Fire
Fulham FC
Braves (If I really had to choose a MLB team. After 15+ years playing the sport growing up, I don't even enjoy watching it anymore).

Not really into any sports other than hockey, at least this year. I haven't watched any football.

Penguins

Titans, I guess.

That's it.

Titans
Miami Dolphins
Miami Heat
Florida Panthers

There will always be a place in my heart for the Panthers. I experienced my very first hockey game when they made the playoffs for the first time. Seeing the rats thrown on the ice and watching that game made me a fan for life.

I have followed the Heat since the days of Glenn Rice and Alonzo Morning. I'm not some bandwagon jumper with the way they have won the last two seasons.

The Predators and Titans however rank way up above in 1A & 1B.

Mine was by chance.Me and a friend needed a soccer team to root for so we decided to hold down a button on our PS3 controller for about 10 minutes while playing FIFA 09, and scroll through the Premier League teams and decided whoever we stopped on would be our team. We landed on Chelsea. Didn't feel right. We did it again and got Fulham. Random I know but that was the only way to settle it. Although, yes I do know about the legend of McBride at Fulham, and would love to go to a match there one day and eat and drink at McBride's Pub in the Cottage.

Nice. I got to be an intern for the Panthers during the 2009-10 season. Had a blast. I'll always root for them on the side.

-Volunteers (alum and current grad student)
-Titans
-Stl Cardinals
-Braves
-Borussia Dortmund, casually. Don't ever have the chance to watch them play live. Play with them on FIFA a lot so I at least know names. As close as I get to following a pro soccer team.

I kind of like the leafs and canes as well. Was really pulling for TOR against Boston last season. Plus I grew up on the TN-NC border so I could get Canes games on tape delay. There is also that regional thing going on there. I think if/when SEA or QC get a team I will follow them closely as well. I always wondered what it would be like to follow a team from its inception. Outside of that my liking of other teams extends only as far as how much I like one particular player or two on the squad (Datsyuk, Messier, Lemieux, Sakic, etc.)
