As traditions hold true, I'm happy that my GDT led to the first (of many) win of the season.

I'm going with Preds starting a winning streak here. 3-1 good guys.

Nice, I like the early GDTs. Leafs are pretty solid across the board this year; going to be a tough one. For some reason, I'm feeling a high scoring endeavor incoming; 6-4 Preds with an EN.

I believe he means that it's a day early. Typically, GDT's are posted the day of the game.

Yes, this. I prefer having a place to talk about the next game as soon as the last one is over. It should just be a "Game Talk" instead of "Gameday Talk."

Makes sense. I like them early as well. - It's not like we starting thinking about the game only on the day of.

I feel good about this one, just wish I was able to get up there and back before work the next day

Gotta stick with what worked for me last game, 3-1 Leafs.
They have a solid team and it'll definitely be a test.

Will be at this one too, can't wait.

I actually kinda like the Leafs and they are in a totally different conference so I hope the Preds win in OT.

Nice GDT!

Looking forward to a good game, and seeing Jones and Forsberg play

I was badly rooting for the Leafs during the playoffs so I would be fine with this, too!

I have a feeling this will be a fun one

With the PK performing so bad, I'd think so. Could be Hendricks, but I doubt they'd sit the new guy this soon.

No real reason to play Clune as there is no bad blood with the Leafs. We need to bolster the PK because Toronto has their PP rolling right now.

If we can put together a full 60 minutes like that first period last night we're in good shape. If Rinne can put together a game like he did last night, we're in good shape. This is a tough Leafs squad. While Minnesota is still looking for their first win, the Leafs are building on confidence right now.

This is why I'm going to love the new season set-up, absolutely ridiculous that an original six franchise has only played in our building 4 times.

We normally would be icing the best line up we've had in years but luckily for you guys Lupul, Clarkson, Kulemin and Fraser are all out with injury(and suspension). Good luck to you guys though, I like the Preds.

Maple Leafs were actually my first love in hockey thanks to Cujo and Company. So I'll be hoping we sneak this one in OT.

I'm going out on a limb here...

2-1 Preds

Hornqvist finally sinks a dirty one
...
and Jones gets his first goal. I feel like he's been working up toward it and he had a handful of good chances last night.

Be good to see Cody Franson again. I always liked him and if he is announced in the starting line up I will cheer for him.

Does Leafs Nation travel? I know we are one of the cheaper venues to catch a game at and that makes me wonder if we will have a bunch of Leafs jerseys at the Bridge.

Caught the preds while they were in town last year. Wish I could pay it forward and catch a leafs/preds game in smashville. Should be a good one. If the preds play their cards right with last change they can make mincemeat of the leafs 3rd and 4th lines because of the built up injuries.

We will get our butts kicked. And the Canadian press will be counting the bodies in the seats.

Against any other cdn team probably not. Against the leafs though? I can almost set a watch to it. We've got some real negative nancy vultures in our media. So I'll apologize in advance lol.

i don't know how to predict this one.

I say don't sit clune, especially with colton orr out there. no bad blood but somehow this squad finds a way to get atleast 1 fight in and some fight scrums too.

Love Clune but he would get trounced by Orr.

Preds 4-3
