If the Flyers had the sixth pick they probably should have taken Monahan over Nurse, Ristolainen and Morin. Monahan is really looking good so far.

Boo, I don't like puns and that one was terrible. NHL.com needs a new person to do the titles of articles and videos. They are all bad; still not a believer and never will be.

I was looking at the schedule for NBCSN games this season and I noticed the Flyers logo was on there quite a lot. We actually have the most games of any team on there this season.

Top 3 teams are no surprise really.

Flyers - 18 games
Blackhawks - 17 games
Penguins - 16 games

This just depresses me as someone that purchased CI. This also doesn't take into account the games that they play on NHLN, NBC (regular), and the fact that I'll get all the games against Washington since I live in their regional coverage area.

So rehashing the Hertl showboating debate, Joe Thornton weighs in: (potenitally NSFW)

This is his 3rd game tonight, he stopped 26 out of 30 against the Flames & stopped 28 out of 30 against the Isles.

Columbus is up 4-1 in this game, he's stopped 23 so far.

How about Colorado? 3-0 on the year so far & up 1-0 on Boston with 8 minutes left in the 3rd.
