Then theres Walter & his colorful brother Harry "Mum" Mummery. Walter only played I think one season in the old NHA for Quebec, but Mum there, he played for the Aces in the NHA, the Habs, Toronto, the Habs again & I think Boston in the NHL before a final season in Saskatoon. Though he only stood 5'11" he apparently tipped the scales at like 265lbs' for awhile, even though he's listed in some databases at 185.... seems old Mum there had a fondness for food that knew no bounds. Extremely light on his feet, like a Ballerina and no way to stop him once he got up a head of steam. Bulldozer. Won I believe two Stanley Cups.

Reto Von Arx

is a pretty cool name, even if his time in the NHL was short-lived.
He's a straight-up Bond villain.

Perhaps a future Austrian star from EBEL (Dornbirger EC)
Kassian Wohlgenannt (Wohl genannt = well-known) -> if he lives up to his name!

I have also found a Swiss player (playing for Luzern4) with the absolute stunning name: Mario Supersaxo ("Saxo" is latinized of the Germanic word for a 1-handed 1-edged sword - English "Seax"; Old Danish "Sax", in modern danish it's "Sakse" - plural - meaning scissors).

Not hard to believe at all: "Jiri" is the Czech version of "George". Same with the Russian names "Yuri" and "Gyorgi", the Finnish "Jyrki", the Swedish "Jorgen" and "Goran", etc.

If this boys, Orca and Ocean Wiesblatt, will make it to the NHL... Vancouver should draft them

Wes Walz, Bob Beers, Glen Featherstone, Garry Galley, Gord Kluzak, Bruce Shoebottom... Bruins almost had a theme going in the early 90's.

Yrjö is the finnish version of the George. Pretty sure Jyrki is an older finnish name while Yrjö is George.

Without researching or thinking too hard about it, my favorites are Link Gaetz and Per Djoos (pear juice).
