3. Marshall Co. HS (TN) Tigers
4. Notre Dame
5. University of North Alabama (niece is part of the dance team so I've gone to a number of games. Good little team and great fans!)

Brewers, Packers, Badgers (except when it comes to DIII, then Alma Mater UW-Whitewater Warhawks), Bucks (if I have to), Coyotes (except, of course, when they face Nashville); in the minors it's the Sounds and Admirals.

I don't have a particular team I follow in "footy", because I really don't have a rooting interest in any club.

Tier 1- Teams I Actually Give a **** About and Follow daily

Braves, Dawgs, Preds

Tier 2 - Teams I root for and casually follow
Navy Football, Red Sox, Avalanche( 2nd fav NHL team) ,Denver Hockey, Boston College Football/Hockey, Hurricanes (Carolina), Cards

Tier 3- NFL teams I'll root for if I am stuck watching a game- Colts, Ravens, Broncos

Don't really follow or care about Soccer, but if I did I'd root for Liverpool and Bayern

AutoRacing: Ferrari (F1), Andretti Autosport (Indycar), Stewart Haas (minus Danica)

Golf: Snedeker, Dufner, Cabrera, Ernie

Locally I like Vandy and the Sounds. And I hope the Grizzlies do well since they're in the state.

That's a smart way of putting it. I'll redo mine with tiers

TIER 1
1. Alabama Crimson Tide
2. Nashville Predators

TIER 2
Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Braves
Pheonix Coyotes - Toronto Maple Leafs
Chicago White Sox
Inter Milan - Leeds United

I agree, the tier system is more interesting.

Tier 1 - most important
Preds
San Diego Chargers
San Diego Padres

Tier 2 - I really like them, but not as emotionally invested as tier 1
Los Angeles Clippers
Fulham FC

Tier 3 - I have reasons for liking them, but I can't keep up that much
Seattle Sounders
San Diego State Aztecs
Florida Panthers

Miscellaneous - Extension of tier 3, just secondary teams for me because I already have favorites
Los Angeles Kings
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Mariners
Toronto Blue Jays
PAC 12 Football

NCAA Interests - I'm all over the board but I have reasons
Vanderbilt
UCLA
Western Kentucky
Florida State Seminoles
San Diego State Aztecs

Put that way...

Tier 1 (absolute importance): Blue Jackets and Buckeyes.

Tier 2 (not too far behind): Go Perds!

Tier 3 (casually follow): Texas A&M Aggies, Tennessee Vols, Columbus Crew

Tier 4 (don't really follow, but hope for the best for): Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Bearcats, Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes, FC Bayern Munich.

And while we're doing tiers...

Hatred Tier 2 (dislike, but don't really get all that worked up about): Cincinnati Bengals, Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings, every other SEC team, the Premier League as a whole (but particularly the top 4), the NBA in general.

Hatred Tier 1 (Unapologetic Perpetual Hatred):
Seattle Sounders, Anaheim Disney Goon Squad, Jeff Carter

I used to support the Galaxy when I lived in LA, but for several different reasons, it became difficult for me to keep doing so when I left. Now, my two best friends live in Seattle and go to all the Sounders matches so that was an easy transition.

Still can't forgive 'em.

Sigi Schmid coached the Crew to the '08 MLS Cup and Supporter's Shield - making for nice recognition for a team that was a founding MLS member, well-supported by fans for all that time, and the first to start the building of soccer-specific stadiums.

And then he promptly left for Seattle. And it's been downhill for the Crew ever since... and in the meantime Golden Child Seattle is being hailed as the darling of the MLS and getting their every wish and desire, gaining all sorts of recognition for what they do while the Crew (having done all that they have and more in the past) are marginalized and ignored unless the USMNT needs another home win.

Seriously, **** those guys. **** 'em.

EDIT: Honestly, Columbus gets boned both ways. In the NHL, it's to hell with the new guys, the elder statesmen are more important. In MLS, it's the other way around. So I get a tad bitter.

It is a bit strange that the Sounders are now the golden child of MLS. I always rooted for the Galaxy (and HATED Chivas USA) as I was in Southern California, and LA in particular for awhile, but as I said I felt disconnected from the team for several reasons when I left. LA could've easily been called the golden child of MLS at that point also. Then I became a Sounders fan because of a totally arbitrary reason and suddenly they get a bandwagon right after. It's weird. And believe me, I could never voluntarily root for a team because they're popular.

As far as Columbus, I always thought it was cool that they were the first to build a soccer-specific stadium.

I'm going to go on a limb and say you're from Columbus?

I have family in Grove City (aka Grov-tucky)

I've been able to go to 5 Crew games in the past, and almost went last weekend against SKC

Like ****.

It is at home and hopefully the dudes will be fired up after watching a couple teammates go out for the season last week.

Grantham needs to coach the kids up, there hasn't been enough progress in that department.

It's an early game too which never bodes well.

Aaron Murray is the man.

Aaron Murray has definitely impressed me.

I personally don't like the Dawgs, but that's because I grew up in Atlanta, but I grew up and ended up going to, Alabama.

Big game though, last year's game against Mizzou was a tough one, but this one is between the hedges, and despite the injuries, I think the dawgs could roll, although with Mizzou having a perfect record, this game has gotten a lot of hype.

Born on-campus @tOSU (after my parents met and were married there), raised in Reynoldsburg and Upper Arlington, and (thanks to a consistently low income) currently maintaining my credentials as a member of the so-called boomerang generation in UA.

Have never actually made it to a live Crew game, alas (see above re: low income).
