GL tonight guys will be watching on Leafs TV (the worst television network possible with the best premise possible.)

Hope it is a good battle, I get nervous whenever we play a western team. I suppose it is kinda a fear of the unknown.

Franson will be on his game tonight

Dammit.
You can find all the Labatt you want... at the Bridge. Just go to the game! I've gone half way around the arena to find it.

Where at? I only knew one place on the main level to find it and they didn't have it at the Minny game.
(I go to around 20+ games/year)

I've walked halfway around the arena for years to get it.

I think Rippy's has Labatt. Also would bet $1000 Canadian dollars that Broadway Brewhouse does.

I have nothing at all against the Leafs. In fact I've always wanted to go to Toronto. I'll be at the game so if we were to win in overtime I would be perfectly fine with that.

Should be a good game. I enjoy watching the preds (I really like the jerseys lol). Like another leaf fan said, it's nice to play against a fan base that doesn't automatically hate anything toronto

Heres to a good game!!

Aside from Forsberg and Jones, any young players on your team to watch out for?

EDIT: I mean rookies

Colin Wilson is youngish ... he played well Tuesday night, after being invisible the first two games out of the chute ... I wouldn't be surprised if he plays well tonight.

You can exclude rookies from that question. Aside from Forsberg and Jones and Weber, no, we have no players you should watch out for.

But seriously, I wish I could answer that question with "Yes, Taylor Beck", but we screwed him and sent him to Milwaukee before the season. All he did was play 16 very impressive NHL games to end last season. It's a shame he's not in Nashville.

Ekholm is technically a rookie I believe (24 with ~5 GP); he's been pretty solid on the third pairing. If you mean "players who could score four goals like Hertl" then no, Forsberg and Jones are just about it for rookie star power.

If we have a rash on injuries, he & Austin Watson are the next two call ups

True, but a rash of injuries would spell doom for us. I'd like to see him playing in meaningful games and not on the roster as a backup plan.

So what's the drink of choice tonight for the game? I'm going with a mid-grade scotch myself.

Miller Lite always; think it has something to do with the can being gold and blue.

Thanks.

Nah, I don't think too many teams have those I meant more of promising rookie type. Example for us would be Carter Ashton. He isn't too spectacular in the offensive zone, but he uses his size well, and has been a good role player for us so far.

Ekholm will be interesting to watch. I haven't heard THAT much of him since he won the Salming award.

Hopefully I can finish my papers before the game tonight.

I wish grad school took place only during summer when there is no hockey.

The kid is actually mentally challenged. PuckDaddy made a post joking about it last season then pulled it once a friend / family member reached out to explain the situation.

I have to be on campus until 2am, and again from 9am until 2pm Friday. Will not be drinking during the game, but hopefully I get a good enough connection in class to stream it.
