RDS conveniently left out the part where Subban said it was on the players, and not the coach that they were ill-prepared.

They turned a leader type comment, into a fake controversy. At least they tried.

Keep up the great work RDS.

Wow amazing GDT! We are seriously spoiled. Great job

We have to get this win tonight. Last night, our play in our own zone was atrocious. I don't know what it is, but we always play like garbage against Calgary. Here's hoping that mediocre defensive performance doesn't become an issue during the season, although I can really see it becoming so.

Here's to a good bounce-back game!

Pretty much the same lineup I posted in the other thread, except I had Pacioretty and Gallagher swapped.

Max Pacioretty - Lars Eller - Alex Galchenyuk
Brendan Gallagher - Tomas Plekanec - Daniel Briere
Rene Bourque - Michael Bournival - Brian Gionta
Travis Moen - Brandon Prust - Ryan White

PK Subban - Jarred Tinordi
Andrei Markov - Nathan Beaulieu
Josh Gorges - Francis Bouillon

I would put Briere with Galchenyuk and Eller. This line is bound to happen and would probably be great.

And play gallagher with Desharnais and Paciorretty just to inspire them to move their freakin ass,

Briere is a really good passer i predict 2 assists form him tonight and Galchenyuk's first goal.

I get that Tinordi has a ton of potential and hasn't looked awful, but last night he looked more out of place than anyone on the roster. It's because he's young, but you don't just throw him into PK's minutes after that.

I do not believe Gorges is a top pairing defenseman, but really we have no other choice unless we want to play Markov with Subban again. We just don't have a real #2 that fits.

When healthy, our D actually isn't that bad..

Subban - Emelin
Markov - Gorges
Tinordi - Murray

Amazing how in 1 game...PK Subban can in one instance, play himself off of Team Canada AND throw his team and teamates under the bus

I see Price getting the start.. we're 1-2 and it's early in the season. Gotta put your best player in the net and hope for some results.

Honestly, I'm not expecting a win on this road trip save for Winnipeg. This is going to be a brutal start until Therrien is gone and GMMB is forced to make some moves re: DD and Bouillon.

Makes no sense to me...why would you want to do this to your team's best player. I get CBC doing it but why RDS? Even TSN/Sportsnet seem to show him more support.

There is a hatred for this kid which I find appalling. I truly believe that it is about race. You can't be blind and not see this. Not just RDS but throughout the league. Darren Wang "play the White way" comment. Mike Richards, Don Cherry, PJ Stock.

Subban should respond with :

"if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice? I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game last it's my last but we're talking about practice man. How silly is that"

I'd swap Gio/Briere. Plekanec line needs to be capable of playing good D since it matches up against opposition best offensive players.

Pacioretty - Eller - Gallagher
Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Prust - Galchenyuk - Briere
Moen - Bournival/Desharnais - White
