It's nice to have cheap production. I wouldn't expect it to last too long though.

Yeah that's not what ELC means...

But yes, he's a beast. Vagrant called that he'd be a beast. I agreed. Still mystified that some people had him starting in Charlotte. He's basically Chad Larose, but good at hockey.

Don't worry, JR will soon be signing him to a 6-year $36 million deal with a NMC.

If he continues getting his 5 SOG per game...he may actually be worth that. (seriously, not many can shoot like he has so far. I hope he can sustain it to some degree. 7 sog tonight.)

He had close to 3 shots per game in his rookie season, so there is a history of being able to generate a lot of shots.

...then again Chad could do that.

Well Chad focused on wearing down goalies by hitting them square in the solar plexus over and over again.

True, but Chad couldn't do it without being on Eric's line.

I wonder if any other fan base can understand the Caniacs' inherent distrust of any small, hard-working player. I feel like it's very specific to our fan base.

Glad Gerbe is doing well for you guys...was a little unsettled how the Sabres GM just emailed his agent to say he was gone.

Enjoy him.

On skates, maybe. I've stood next to him. He's not an inch over 4'10''

This is another of those reclamations that looks good for the first season, and then when the new contract is signed, looks like a "WTF was JR thinking" moment!
