Haven't seen him.

I've heard Lundqvist is off to a **** start, but I haven't seen him either. I meant to watch NYR to investigate their new look. I have failed.

They're down 2-0 to the Ducks now. Don't think it's his fault though.

I enjoy watching them lose.

EDIT: 3-0. Pretty ugly goal for Lundqvist. May have been tipped.

Lundqvist just gave up a pretty soft goal. He might've been screened but for his standards it was pretty soft.

Bob is being Bob. Playing well as usual. Lundqvist, on the other hand, is being blamed by pretty much every Rangers fan so far this season. Though that team as a whole is pretty unimpressive right now. Still, Lundqvist is expected to be their rock of Gibraltar yet he's doing pretty badly thus far.

So Lundqvist has gone from the Rock of Gibraltar to a goalstone.

(Sorry, FlyingPhilly )

The Rangers just allowed a goal.

EDIT: 5-0 Ducks. I love it

I used to fear the Rags when Torts was behind the bench because it was pretty much a guaranteed loss for us. Now? no way.

Rangers are just a mess. I heard that out of all the goalies that the new padding rules would hurt lundqvist the most, this plus no torts is looking like a disaster for this team.

If/when the rags lose they'll be 1-3 on the season, tied with the Flyers and Caps with the same record. They'll each have two points. The Devils on the other hand are 0-1-3, so hey have three points, putting them ahead of the Flyers, Caps and Rags....with no wins.

Loser points are so stupid. They really need to do away with this garbage.

So AV the next coach to go?

It's also that time of the year again where the "dirtiest hit ever" keeps repeating itself throughout the season.

His comments on the pads made it sound like adjusting was difficult.

Yeah, this division looks like garbage thus far. So far Columbus looks like the second best team in the division. Think on that for a second. Columbus is now the second best team in an eight team division that includes all the former Atlantic teams...that's a what the **** moment right there.

Yeah loser points are silly. Ultimately they don't affect much though. Not like a team like the Devils is likely to make the playoffs and even if they do by virtue of loser points they're almost guaranteed to not go far at all.

The Rangers board is in full meltdown mode. They want to fire everybody, from Sather all the way down to the hotdog vendor.

For as bad as the Flyers have been, at least we don't keep getting blown out. Every time I see the score in a rangers game I can't help but do this...

They just signed AV to a 5 year deal. Firing him now would be crazy.

Not too surprised about the Rangers considering how they have to adjust from that stifling game Torts made them play. Guess they felt so liberated they forgot they still have to play defense. Their coach is still good....they will need time to adjust. In the meantime, I'm glad they are sucking it up...
