Well to be fair they're also on a crazy road trip again since MSG is still being renovated.

Nice to see another team with a Media Problem (San Jose)...from a guy who plays hockey year round for 3 teams in beer leagues, that quote is awesome. Way to go Joe Thorton, took the heat off Hertl

8-2. Mostly because there was a major called and the Caps scored like 4 times on it.

Carcillo got a 9 minute penalty & I believe Washington scored a couple of times on it.

Shanny has a busy day today. Edler & Kaleta both have hearings for potential head shots.

I finally watched the goals from that Rangers game. Holy **** was Lundy left out to dry so badly in that game. It was stupid to try to poke that puck (in the gif above) but the rest, he got no help from his defensemen.

He still gave up like 3 or 4 softies. He deserves some blame as well.

I don't know but they have St. Louis on Saturday too, it's not looking too bright for them if they can't get their heads out of their ***es.

He was probably at the "**** this, I'm doing it myself" stage.

Kaleta should be banished to Antarctica.

Edler should be fine. No idea about Kaleta.

Edler was skating in a straight line, didn't line up the head, didn't do anything malicious, didn't change his positioning or anything. Hertl skated into him headfirst.

It's not the greatest angle but on the main boards there's a gif that makes it look like a blatant headshot. If he does get suspended it will be his forth suspension.

The guy is approaching Cooke/Torres territory very quietly.

Remember when he opened their bench door so that Zherdev would fall in backwards? Such a punk.

I don't think there's anything quiet about it TBH. Anyone I've ever talked to, whether it be on these boards or friends or whatever, identifies Kaleta as one of he biggest POS in the game.

I do like what the league is doing with the pad sizes. Lundy was excessively tall pads.

I miss old goaltending with short pads and guys who could really move. But that will never happen again.

At some point given that goalies are on average alot taller than the 90s, make the nets 5" bigger.

I'm still waiting for Cooke to snap and get a lifetime ban, he's no longer on bettman's team.
