A huge minus is G's wingers.
mesz made that nice little play where he was able to skate the puck out of the zone on his own. havent seen a flyer do that in a couple of years.

I haven't seen anything negative from the D, not that I've noticed.

Feeling 2 Flyers goals this period. One on PP and one 5v5.

Fantastic.

Maybe someone else on Giroux's wing can get something started.

They've enjoyed taking weak shots from the point so far other that I have no complaints.

Hartnell hurt. Great. Mez has looked better. Making crisp passes and sound positionaly.

B. Schenn is continuing his long trend of looking like he's eternally on the verge of being really good, and then never quite doing it.

That one Coburn shot looked awful in real time. On replay it had a little zip. Must have been the angle?

I was literally one second from saying "Put Matt Read on the 1st with G" and they show him... perfect.

That's to be expected. Even our two guys with any offensive talent can't shoot it hard. The guys that we have that can shoot it hard can't shoot it accurately or aren't standouts in any other way. By guys I mean Meszaros there.

He is like JVR was IMO... but more physical, and better in his own end. The skill is there, I think it is a matter of when it comes together instead of if. I really cannot see him not being a 60 point player in the NHL... so long as he matures and improves his hockey IQ, which he should with age and experience.
