Good news: Higgins will return sooner than expected

My friend is doing a stage in physio and he worked on Chris Higgins' knee rehabilitation and said that he would be back much sooner than anticipated.

He also worked on Karl Dyhuis, but he's useless.

higgins said himself, his goal was to be ready for the isles on thursday, so unless he's back before thursday which i doubt, i dont see how its sooner then expected.

Thats great news... out here on the west coast I don't get any updates regarding the habs (except scores / trades) and I was beginning to wonder when he was going to come back.

Higgins fixed this himself, the 'expected' return date is around December 15-20.

while we're on the topic of mothers brothers best friends sister, I think it would be a fun time to reveal a true story of mine.

I wanted to go to the Feb 20th game vs Washington and when I got off work the tickets I was looking for (expensive ones since I didnt wanna go from PEI to MTL for cheap tickets) were all sold out. I went back to work the next day and a lady I was working with said she might be able to help me because her good friend is the mother of Radek Bonks' wife. I ended up getting 2 tickets for the game (I had to pay for them of course) sent to me in the mail from Radek Bonk himself and I am sitting right behind the Canadiens bench with all the wives.

I couldn't believe that a lady from PEI could wind up getting me tickets to a Canadiens game that had all the good tickets sold out, and do it all with one phone call. It was pretty cool.

Anyways, i'm psyched and can't wait to see Ovechkin.

To be fair he never said it was THE Chris Higgins we all know and love. It must have been some chump with the same name.

Back on topic.

I was at the Canadiens/Leafs game day skates yesterday morning and Higgins is just dying to get back on the ice, he spent the entire practice watching the team at the bench licking his chops to get back in. But my guess is that he would have to be skating at least a week before he returns, so if he expects to be back soon hopefully he will start skating this week by himself.

Higgins got injured at the begining of November. They said he would miss 6 weeks. That would bring him back around December 20th-25th. This is not early, this is exactly what they expected.

My Grandfather's dead husband's cousins of my nephew's daughter said that I shouldn't beleive you.

of course...if they were working on his knee it must be in good shape...since it's ankle that's hurt!

And I was waiting outside of his office for her (very nice office by the way, Marcel Aubut's former office) he came of his office running and panicking because his TV didn't work and he was missing the Habs game. Moreover, this was during the Rempart's game when he still head his functions as General Manager so instead of watching the team he owns and works for, he was catching the Habs game.

Patrick Roy is a habs lover through and through. And he has the Habs jersey he won the stanley cup with hanging on his wall in his office (I don't know which one though).
