GDT: 12/3 New York Islanders @ New York Rangers 5PM - BATTLE FOR 1st!!

@
MSG @ 5:00pm

Biggest game of the season for the Rangers? YES..IT IS!

LETS GO RANGERS! Keep it simple, stay with the system, offense play with pressure and defense and PK play with pressure as well! We can win this game vs a team who have been identical to how we were last year...its a huge game, winner is 1st in the Atlantic...we need this win!

LETS GO RANGERS! CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!

isles will be tired....they played a hard nosed game in Pitt....there defense must be exhausted

rangers should win plus no Yashin!!

Isles goal will be to escape the first period tied....

They will not be tired. This is a HUGE game, they will be just as pumped up as hopefully the Rangers will be. Hopefully the Rangers don't go into the game with the mindset you have

**** the Islanders

This is the first time we've played them, right?

LETS GO RANGERS

This game takes precedence over the Giants for me.

Can't wait. I'll be there. Usually I don't like to miss a Giants game (their game was originally to be at 1 PM), but this is a gigantic game and we have to get a win instead of a loss in OT for once.

I had tickets but I gave them up...I have to ref a game which pays $70 bucks for 85 minutes of work....im praying for a win though! Root 2x the amount you would normally do for my absence though for me

Hey little late here but whats the word on Straka? Is he okay? After leaving the game in buffalo by order per ref i never saw him come back. The cameras showed him flexing his knee but a ref can only really send him away if he's bleeding i thought. But yeah i haven't heard a word since about what happened. Any infoz? ><

this definantly a beef of mine, last sunday Rangers played a 7:30 PM home game, why not this week? This will be game 4 in 6 nights for the Islanders and it reeks of bad scheduling since this is the 2nd of a back to back being played at 5 PM.

Predict Rangers 5 goals from Jagr first hat of the season, Shanahan and Tyutin.

Islanders 1 goal from god best friend, satan.

And KingHenrik +20saves !

Hopefully Straka will be in the lineup tonight, but if not, maybe we can use the opportunity to tinker with the Powerplay a bit.

Going to need a good PK performance tonight, as it seemed the Islanders used the Powerplay to get momentum. Seeing as how this could be a very physical game, we could see a lot of penalties. (Even though I hope not)

Finally, Isles vs Rangers. I expect Shanahan and Hall to be big factor for us in their first taste of the rivlary. I predict a 4-2 win for NYR... goals from Jagr, Shanahan (2), and Hall.

can't wait for this one. Should be a good game, and the Rangers need to win this one. Lundqvist will play big, and let's see Hollweg hit Poti hard a few times.

Hey guys!!

I am really excited for this game! It should be great, although I am worried about the Isles being exhausted after the game they played last night. But this is the Rangers so Nolan should have them ready.

Here's to a hard fought CLEAN game!!

Good luck the rest of the season guys!

Kristie

poti has been suprisingly good for the isles this year, no brain farts in d-zone and timely pinches in o-zone.
this is gonna e great game, i hope it is not a blowout (either way, i hate watching blowouts) and predicting a 3-2, 4-2 type game, hopefully with the isles on top
isn't it great to see both teams playing a game that actually means something?
