Biron is a sieve. We look competent tonight and we get this kind of goaltending. We really need to let Biron walk and bring up Talbot.

Biron's good in the room, though. Right?

Biron hasn't been worse than Lundqvist

The defense is lost and Biron just isn't an nhl caliber goalie at this point.

I'm having a hard time getting mad about this game. Its been a much better effort than previous games. Dreadful goaltending from Biron, but what are you going do? Hank hasn't been much better either...

Sather has to deal with some passengers on this team. I can see where AV wants this team to be. But, guys like Boyle are just not going to fit...

Not true! The D is just as responsible on some of them! Both need to be much better and are worthy of blame.

Staal is lost - either he's not ready or he'll never be the same - either way I'm not sure how he can keep going out there

Staal & Biron killing us tonight when the offense actually looks competent, figures.

just in case anyone missed it AV did say it normally takes about 30-45 days to have the team get fully acclimated with his system and this starts from the day the real team is set.

If I have to hear about Talbot all seasob because a bunch of fans popped halfies after seeing him in two preseason games ever, I will not be able to tolerate it. Yes, Biron is shot. Shouting for Talbot, who is barely supposed to even amount to a backup at his peak, is idiotic. Wow. He looked okay in a game and a half of exhibition hockey.

Staal was the cause for the chances, but those stops were something a NHL goalie needs to make.

All I know is they look decent tonight, even with the warts and all.

Edit: Biron is not sharp, not even adequate.

He's allowed 9 goals in 70 minutes this season and he absolutely has been.

That was input from Hitchcock, not AV.

We could easily be out of the playoff race by then and we'll play just well enough to get a mediocre draft pick. This franchise is a hot mess.

It's not all his fault, but he's given up four goals on 17 shots. That's bad.

I think I'd like to see Talbot called up, even if I think it would be better for his development to be a starter in the AHL.

Fast released his man, thinking Staal was going to pick him up. Staal never did. Not sure who is responsible there.

Dorsett is a Rube Goldberg machine designed to take penalties.
