Even if he was, where would he play? Our RW is so crowded. Jim Fox did suggest that Toffoli should move to LW, though...

Bud was a left winger throughout our development system. He would play left wing. It would give us Brown, Frattin, Holloway, Clifford, King, and upcoming Pearson on the left side. Holloway is supposed to be more of an offensive player, if that should translate well to the NHL, ideally we would be looking at:

Brown-Kopitar-Williams
Holloway-Richards-Carter
Frattin-Stoll-Toffoli
Clifford-Fraser-Lewis
King/Nolan

That's a forward lineup that could do some damage, but we need either Mitchell to get healthy on the back end, or to somehow resign Scuderi.

Some people are to fixated on which wing a guy can play. Most forwards can play multiple positions, and a large percentage can play all three if needed, especially on the lower lines where the focus shifts away from offense and more towards defense and physical play.

If we are at all looking to sign Bud, it's because DL and Sutter already have an idea on where he'll play, so obviously there's a slot for him. That's all we need to worry about.

3rd line LW? Yes, I'd welcome that.

Only 23 more games without a goal and DL will sign him to a 3 year, 9 million deal.

Sadly the cap doesn't work on this one... what was the offer Bud turned down... 600k? To offer much more Kings would need to clear cap space. Personally I'd rather see Toffoli or Pearson. GLHF Bud..

Hey Rosa 4 goals and 12 assists in 29 games that makes him a top six on this team.

The only reason this slab of meat is not "forgotten" is because this is a message board where people talk of such things........

etc.

Or we can also discuss the Kings' road trip.
